Su Yi returned to her seat, thinking about gathering after school. She would also have to find a way to tell her grandmother that she would not be home in time for dinner.
So after lunch, she stepped onto the teaching building for the second year of high school.
Each grade, for classes 11 and 12, had its own floor, both on the top floor. Unlike the noisy situation on the floors below, the corridor on the top floor was quiet. There were some noises in the classrooms, but they were just whispers.
Although it was lunchtime, most people were working hard with their heads down.
Su Yi leaned over the window and looked out, trying to find Xiao Yan among the sea of blackheads.
Someone in the classroom noticed her. It was someone who had seen her before with Xiao Yan and immediately shouted loudly: “Brother Yan, your sister is here!”
As soon as the voice fell, everyone looked over.
Su Yi smiled at them and waved to Xiao Yan.
There were a few people standing next to Xiao Yan’s seat, seemingly discussing something. He stood up and came out.
Han Lu was one step faster than him. He rushed out of the classroom in a few seconds, propped one hand on the wall in front of Su Yi, and lifted his hair with the other hand, smiling, “Little girl is here. What do you want to talk to your brother about?”
“Tell him something.”
“What is it? It’s the same if you tell Brother Lu.” Han Lu lowered his head and moved closer.
Su Yi took a step back.
Then, Xiao Yan grabbed Han Lu’s collar from behind, dragged him up, and threw him back.
“Oh my, Ah Yan, stop it, my image!”
The two people present ignored him.
Xiao Yan looked down at Su Yi, “What’s the matter?”
Su Yi said, “I have to go to the playground to gather after school today. Please tell Grandma for me.”
Xiao Yan nodded and asked, “Have you signed up for the sports meet? What events?”
“I signed up for two.” Su Yi pointed at two with her fingers, “5,000 meters and shot put.”
Xiao Yan frowned slightly, and before he could speak, Han Lu tidied his clothes and came over to lean on him, “You are a very brave, little girl. You dare to sign up for both 5,000 meters and shot put. Do you know how hard it is?”
Even though he was only one grade away from the other, he kept calling her little girl. Su Yi did not refute and said, “Our sports committee member said so too. No one signed up for these two events.”
“Did you choose it yourself?” Xiao Yan asked her.
Han Lu teased him, “What’s wrong, Ah Yan? Are you still afraid that the little girl will be bullied?”
But think about it, this is really possible.
If she was a person with a thin face, and others coaxed her into putting her name forward, she would even be embarrassed to say no and would have no choice but to be forced to do so.
Su Yi would not tell them that it was for the bonus, otherwise, she would be criticized if her grandmother knew. She just said with anticipation: “I think it should be interesting. I want to give it a try.”
“Hey, a newborn calf is not afraid of a tiger.” Han Lu smiled and patted Xiao Yan’s shoulder: “Don’t worry, Ah Yan. Don’t forget, I am the sports committee member of our class, and I will have to train with them. I will help you take care of the little girl and will not let her be bullied by others. After all, your sister is my sister. Seriously, do you want to call me brother?” He turned her head to Su Yi again.
Su Yi looked at Xiao Yan.
Xiao Yan slapped Han Lu in the face, pushed him away from him, and said to Su Yi, “I understand. Let Uncle He wait for you then.”
“I can take the bus by myself. I know the route.”
Xiao Yan said: “The bus is too slow. Grandma will be worried.”
This sentence worked very well for Su Yi, so she said: “Okay, I’ll go back first. See you in the evening.”
Xiao Yan nodded.
Han Lu waved his hand exaggeratedly: “See you after school. Brother Lu will wait for you in the playground.”
When Su Yi walked away, he pinched his throat and said mischievously: “The bus is too slow. If you go home so late, Brother Yan will be so worried that he won’t be able to eat, right, Brother Yan?”
Xiao Yan glanced at him and asked, “Has anyone signed up for the 400-meter sprint?”
“Not yet. It’s all your fault. You were the champion last year and broke the school record. Why didn’t you sign up this year? Are we still brothers?”
“Sign me up.”
“I’m telling you, without you, our class might be outclassed by the bachelor class next door. By then— Wait, what did you say?!”
However, Xiao Yan had already turned around and entered the classroom.
“Hey…” Han Lu stared for a while and then suddenly realized: “I know!”
He chased after Xiao Yan and yelled: “I was wondering why you suddenly changed your mind. I almost wore out my lips before, but you didn’t agree. When the little girl came and heard that she was going to participate in the sports meeting, you immediately followed her. I said, Ah Yan, you can’t do this. Your development trend is very dangerous! Sister—”
“Shut up, Han Lu!” The other people in the classroom were annoyed by the noise and threw a book at him.
Han Lu grabbed it, stood on one leg, and slowly finished the second half of the sentence, “There will be no happiness for those who are sister-control.”
The last day of the triple update, all…
Tomorrow will update as per usual 🙂
You can support your favorite novel by buying me a cup of Ko-fi ( ˘▽˘)っ♨
I will really appreciate it. ♥️♥️♥️

Han Lu is such a clown. The amazing point is he’s a clown for his whole class (not only for XY) and it seems his relationship with them was also good. 😅😅😅😅
