HITA Chapter 2

The world that Shi Shuiyue transmigrated into was a novel called The Path of Wulin. The main character of this world was Tang Xing, the eldest young master of the Tang Clan, and the female lead was Ran Shu, the daughter of the famous Jade Palace Sect’s leader. According to the author, they were a match made in heaven. In Shi Shuiyue’s opinion, the author definitely had no other words to describe them, and thus used such a cliched description. 

However, Shi Shuiyue had only read half of the novel. She originally planned on reading the rest of the novel that evening, but she had inexplicably transmigrated over. 

As for the original host, Shi Shuiyue, she didn’t know where she should start ridiculing her. 

Couldn’t she just stick to being the leader of an evil sect? She just had to go look for trouble. It would kill her if she didn’t go out to cause trouble. In the end, she was stabbed to death by the main character because he couldn’t stand her anymore. 

Shi Shuiyue was so speechless that she could only laugh. 

Correct! The cause of death for this antagonist wasn’t due to being a cannon fodder who fell in love with the male lead, but rather, her troublesome character was the direct cause of her death.

For this reason, Shi Shuiyue set down a series of new sect rules—If one discovered that the sect master had not returned to the sect within three days, they must immediately send people out to search for her.

Due to the fact that the original host didn’t like people following her, no one even knew that she had died. 

Although the sect members thought that it was somewhat strange, they still followed the rules seriously. They were good followers of the sect who abided by the rules and disciplines ah! 

Fortunately, Shi Shuiyue usually just stayed in the sect dwelling reading storybooks, eating pastries, practicing calligraphy, and so on. 

However, on that day, Muqing and Mulan had gone out, and no one brought osmanthus cakes back for her. So, Shi Shuiyue personally went down the mountain to buy osmanthus cake, which she thought was a very simple matter. 

But Shi Shuiyue still didn’t return after three days.

At this ‘critical’ moment, the sect members remembered the sect rules that Shi Shuiyue had set and hurriedly sent people down the mountain to search for her. 

Yet, when they found Shi Shuiyue, she was standing quietly in the forest holding a box of osmanthus cakes. When she saw the sect members, her calm eyes lit up. 

Just when they thought that she was going to say something, Shi Shuiyue just faintly said, “I was lost.” This forest was seriously too big. 

Everyone froze.

Their reaction was due to the fact that this forest wasn’t even as big as one of the mountaintops of their sect. Even if one walked around randomly, they would be able to get out in an hour. But, uh, it was the first time that someone had gotten lost like Shi Shuiyue. 

Thus, the entire sect found out that their sect master was not only expressionless but she also directionally challenged.  

Muqing guffawed, “Hahaha…Sect…Sect Master, don’t be angry. Hahaha…aiyo…I can’t stand it anymore!!!”

Mulan also couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

The impassive Shi Shuiyue remained silent. 

If they continued to act like this, they might seriously lose her. 

Anyways, the Hundred Poison Sect was the largest evil organization in this world. Its key members were Shi Shuiyue, the Sect Master; Muqing and Mulan, the Left and Right Envoys; Fei Di, the First Sect Elder; Mo Li, the Second Sect Elder; Yu Ruiran, the Third Sect Elder; and Xiao Feng, the Fourth Sect Elder.

Mulan was mainly in charge of handling all the affairs within the sect. In the modern world, she would be considered a full-time steward. She managed the food, people, and money. But her most important task was to act as a guide for Shi Shuiyue. 

Muqing, on the other hand, was a top-tier assassin who possessed all the skills of a killer, including committing murder and arson, using poison, stealing, etc. She often helped the sect master do some evil (sneaky) things. 

Fei Di, the First Sect Elder, was the first female sect elder besides the sect leader. She was mainly responsible for practicing poison and her nickname was ‘Poison Maiden’. Fei Di warned that she was going to kill anyone who read ‘Poison Maiden’ as ‘Poison Scorpion’¹毒娘子 (Poison Maiden) looks similar to 毒蝎子 (Poison Scorpion).

Second Sect Elder, Mo Li, specialized in the art of disguise, and he also had very keen senses. He could immediately distinguish the sounds of the grass swaying in the wind, and thus he was known in the sect as ‘Prominent Ears’. (Mo Li expressed that he would award anyone who beat the sect leader to death.)

Yu Ruiran, the Third Sect Elder, was a stern-looking middle-aged man. He looked like one of those men in the righteous circle who was revered for their strong sense of righteousness. His characteristic was that he had an emotionless face that could rival Shi Shuiyue’s. Ahem…that was just a joke. His main job was to train the sect disciples, so, to be precise, he was a teacher. 

As for the Fourth Sect Elder, Xiao Feng, he would be regarded as an effeminate man with exceptional acting skills. He was known in Jianghu as ‘Human Encyclopedia’. His ability to gather information was top-notch. Oh, by the way, he had an avid interest towards Shi Shuiyue. 

When it came to his behaviors, even Muqing and Mulan couldn’t stand him. They blocked the door of Shi Shuiyue’s room and shouted, “Stay away from our Sect Master!”

Xiao Feng clutched his little handkerchief and stamped his feet in a petulant manner. A layer of powder fell off his face as he whined in a shrill voice, “Aiya, just let me in! I want to show Sect Master my new peach blossom makeup~” As he said that, he also winked coquettishly at the two of them.

Muqing and Mulan were rendered speechless. ‘Have you guys ever experienced despair?’ 

“What’s with all the…” Before she could say the word ‘noise’, Shu Shuiyue had seen that outlandish thing appear in front of her, and she suddenly fell silent. 

Xiao Feng, on the other hand, proudly glanced at Muqing and Mulan, who were standing beside him with a stiffened expression. He shyly covered his face with a handkerchief and coquettishly called out to Shi Shuiyue, “Sect Master, look at me…”

BANG!

The dust from the door closing landed on Xiao Feng’s face, and the smile on his face suddenly stiffened. 

Mulan had suppressed her laughter, but Muqing didn’t have such good endurance and guffawed unceremoniously. 

“Sect Master, open the door ah! Since you have the capability to look at me, you should have the guts to open the door!”

Shi Shuiyue nearly spat out the water she had just drank. 

The sound of laughter outside got even louder. 

Shi Shuiyue held her forehead helplessly. She finally understood why the original host didn’t like to stay inside the sect. With someone like him around, it must have been difficult for the original host to survive until now. 

As for the Shi Shuiyue who was currently in another realm, she had sneezed several times in a row. 

Shi Shuiyue rubbed her nose and wondered, “Is someone scolding me behind my back?”

The group of muscular men following behind Shi Shuiyue all trembled. They helplessly cried in their hearts, ‘Who dares to scold you ah?! You cruel and ruthless demoness!’

“Hey, why are you guys dawdling behind me? Hurry up!” Shi Shuiyue grumpily said as she turned around to look at them. 

The group of men immediately went forward with a smile, “Boss Lady, we’re coming right now~”

Shi Shuiyue glanced at them and said with disgust, “Tsk, you guys shouldn’t smile with that face of yours. It’s seriously affecting my appetite. I still need to eat later.”

The men: “…”

They felt so wronged ah!

They couldn’t even happily hang out together anymore!
