HITA Chapter 10

“Shuiyue, I need to go back to take care of some business. You should also hurry back to your sect!” It was rare to see Tang Xing looking so anxious. Shi Shuiyue swallowed the osmanthus cake in her mouth and watched him run out of the inn. 

The main character was so unreservedly sociable—Shi Shuiyue thought as she ate. 

But this was also good because that was how people made friends. 

Shi Shuiyue suddenly thought of her life in the modern world, but it seemed like there wasn’t anything good to remember. Thus she continued to quietly eat the osmanthus cakes. 

She should fill her stomach before returning to the sect. 

“Hey! I’m calling you!” A whip lashed towards Shi Shuiyue. She turned her head slightly and avoided the hit. Then she looked at the red-clothed woman in front of her in confusion. 

Upon making eye contact with Shi Shuiyue, the woman in red was slightly stunned. She immediately glared at Shi Shuiyue in anger, and then lashed her whip at the stool nearby, “You indeed look just like a vixen. How dare you seduce my Older Brother Tang?!”

Due to the fact that Shi Shuiyue wasn’t delicately dressed up and had intentionally restrained her aura, Ran Shu didn’t recognize her. 

Red clothes and stunning appearance—this matched the description of the female lead. Shi Shuiyue chewed her food with an expressionless face. In the novel, the female lead did have a fierce personality, but why did she look somewhat familiar…

Yep, this fellow had—slight—face blindness.

“Hey! I’m talking to you!” Seeing that Shi Shuiyue was ignoring her, Ran Shu became furious. No one dared to ignore her like this!

“Oh.” Shi Shuiyue tilted her head and responded.

The weak table was heroically sacrificed under Ran Shu’s whip. Shi Shuiyue looked at the empty plate that also fell to the ground and was glad that she had just finished the last piece of osmanthus cake. 

“Hmph! If you’re smart, you should stay away from my Older Brother Tang!” Ran Shu set down a warning before she left. The only ones left were Shi Shuiyue, who seemed as if nothing happened and prepared to go upstairs, and the other guests in the room, who were whispering to one another during the whole process.

Their voices finally quieted down when she entered the room. Shi Shuiyue poured a cup of tea for herself and slowly drank it. 

Although there was something seriously wrong with the male lead, the female lead seemed to be the same as before…

Sure enough, they must have colluded and plotted something. The image of Tang Xing flashed through Shi Shuiyue’s mind, and her expression slightly changed. In the end, she could only let out a light sigh.

Shi Shuiyue, who had already hit the road, sneezed several times. She rubbed her nose questioningly—did she forget something?

Oh well, she needed to hurry back.
