Hua Meixuan was surprised to see Ning Chuchu leaving in her casual clothes, “Chuchu? Where are you going? We’re going to take the final photos soon, aren’t you going to change clothes?”
Ning Chuchu turned to her and showed her a casual smile, “I have something to deal with first.”
Hua Meixuan could only watch her leave, frowning and muttering ‘How strange’.
Next to her, the female assistant who informed Ning Chuchu glanced at the makeup door worriedly.
Ning Chuchu rushed to the shooting site for the final makeup photos, and the people inside were busy. However, under the command of a middle-aged man with a loud voice and thick beard, everything seemed to be in order.
As soon as Ning Chuchu arrived at the shooting site, someone spotted her with sharp eyes, “Isn’t Ning Chuchu here?”
The person who spoke was a young man. He was very tall, but very thin. He couldn’t support the white ancient costume at all, and it looked a little loose.
Even with makeup on, people could see that his face was pale, his complexion was very bad, and his eyes were cloudy and gloomy. People could tell at a glance that he was weak and his spirit was also very poor.
This was none other than Song Qi’s nephew, Song Tuo.
Song Tuo sat on the chair like a boneless person, crossed his legs, and said: “Miss Ning, why did you come so late? Everyone is waiting for you.”
He seemed to casually glance at the costume in Ning Chuchu’s hand. His eyes flashed slightly.
He took the initiative to say: “Do you come without even changing your costume? How can you take a final makeup photo?”
Hearing this, Zou Long, the Director of “One Sword Jianghu”, turned to look at Ning Chuchu. He had a very thick beard, and when he frowned, he looked even more ferocious.
He loudly and sternly rebuked: “Ning Chuchu, what are you dawdling about?! If you don’t want to act, get out!”
Zou Long was a director with a strong sense of conviction and had high requirements for his works. But even though he had become one of the best directors in the industry, sometimes he had to make some compromises with capital.
Song Tuo and Ning Chuchu were concessions that he made unwillingly.
Although he also hated the lazy Song Tuo, Ning Chuchu, who was late and didn’t change her costume, made him even more angry.
When Zou Long got angry, the rest of the crew looked down, trying to lower their sense of presence and not dare to offend the director.
Song Tuo looked at Ning Chuchu gloatingly, with obvious malice on his face.
As the focus of the whole scene, Ning Chuchu didn’t look embarrassed at all. She was still so calm and elegant, with a faint smile on her face.
She raised the costume in her hand and said calmly, “Director Zou, I’m not dawdling. It’s just that this costume can’t be worn.”
After saying that, she grabbed one side of the costume with both hands and gently pulled it. The exquisite and gorgeous white ancient costume was torn into two halves, which were broken at the cutting point, and the thread was scattered.
Zou Long was stunned, frowning and staring at the weirdly damaged costume. For a moment, even his anger was restrained, and he just pondered silently.
Song Tuo’s careful arrangement was exposed, but he was not panicked at all, only a little regret flashed in his eyes.
Then, he laughed freely and said, “Oh, I didn’t expect Miss Ning to be so strong. But it’s okay if you have resentment in your heart, why do you vent your anger on the clothes? Look at a good ancient costume, look at what you tore it into?”
Ning Chuchu’s eyes were slightly cold. Was Song Tuo trying to divert the blame?
