The half-hour journey was cut down to ten minutes by Leng Minxing, who had long lost track of how many red lights he ran through. His mind was completely blank. He rushed to the villa, still feeling dazed.

The maids downstairs wore excited expressions.

Upon seeing him, they were thrilled.

Leng Minxing slightly furrowed his brow. “Where is Madam?”

“Madam is still resting,” the butler hurriedly replied. “The private doctor has already checked her and said that Madam fainted due to anemia caused by malnutrition.”

“I… I’m fine. I’ll go see her…” Leng Minxing stared blankly as he walked upstairs. He stumbled at the bottom of the stairs, startling everyone. They rushed to support him, but Leng Minxing waved them off and climbed up in a chaotic manner.

Leng Minxing pushed open the door and quietly entered the room.

At that moment, Luo Xi was talking to the doctor with her head down.

Upon hearing the noise, she glanced at him, then quickly lowered her head again, her expression somewhat complicated.

Leng Minxing let out a slight breath, but his expression remained grim. He nodded and said, “I understand. You can leave for now. I’ll call for you later.”

The doctor nodded and exited.

Once the doctor left, the room fell silent.

Leng Minxing hesitated for a moment before sitting down. “Xixi, is there anywhere else you feel uncomfortable?”

Luo Xi shook her head.

Seeing this, Leng Minxing felt a bit relieved. “Then you should rest well. I’ll have the kitchen prepare something delicious for you.”

Luo Xi kept her head lowered, and suddenly tears began to drip onto the blanket.

Avoid spicy and cold foods and not too oily meals to prevent any adverse reactions. It’s best to have a professional chef prepare her meals to maintain nutrition for the healthy growth of the child.”

He hesitated and then added, “Madam might be on a diet recently. This must be stopped immediately because it can greatly affect the child. Also, I’ve noticed her emotions aren’t great. During pregnancy, a woman’s feelings can be quite sensitive, and her temper might be more irritable than usual, so please be understanding, Young Master. A happy pregnant woman is better for the child’s growth.”
