Leng Me’er stared and asked in a daze.
Was Luo Xi trying to mess with her?
“Huh?”
Luo Xi originally thought it was just a cleaning maid, but it turned out to be Leng Me’er. She looked up to find Leng Me’er dressed up elegantly. Her lips twitched as she glanced at her phone and then back at her. She blinked innocently. “Didn’t you say it starts at 7:30? It’s only six o’clock now…”
Leng Me’er replied angrily, “We need to get there early. Do you think this is a class where you can just arrive on time?”
Luo Xi’s mouth twitched.
Was it really necessary to go this early?
Besides, with that outfit, she looked like a princess about to get married.
Scratching her head, she sat up and said, “Alright, just give me a moment. I’ll be ready soon.”
Although Leng Me’er was a bit dissatisfied, she remembered it was Luo Xi’s first time and that she didn’t know the rules, so she couldn’t blame her. As Luo Xi went to the wardrobe, Leng Me’er sat down on the sofa and waited in silence. She said sullenly. “It used to be that people waited for me. When did it become my turn to wait for others?”
“Forget it, I won’t hold it against her.”
Just a couple of minutes while she was waiting, she heard the notification sound from Luo Xi’s phone that had been left aside.
She glanced over to see a Weibo page with a flurry of new messages popping up. Curious about what Luo Xi was up to with so many Weibo messages, she couldn’t help but check it out.
After clicking, she found a post from Luo Xi where she was standing in front of a full-length mirror, having uploaded two photos without any accompanying text. But there were already thousands of comments and hundreds of thousands of likes, leaving her astounded.
She had heard about Luo Xi entering the entertainment industry a while ago, but she hadn’t paid much attention to it. She was surprised to find out that Luo Xi’s popularity on Weibo was so high.
Comparing her own follower count of just ten thousand, a hint of embarrassment flashed across her face.
Out of courtesy, she was curious but didn’t dare to scroll through Luo Xi’s phone. Instead, she took out her own phone and searched for Luo Xi’s Weibo username.
To her shock, the first result was a big V account with over 15 million followers!
Leng Me’er was shocked. She compared them multiple times to confirm it wasn’t a mistake. Her expression turned to one of disbelief after confirming that it was indeed the right one.
Hadn’t Luo Xi only filmed a small web series? How could she have so many followers?
Could it be that they were bought?
This thought crossed her mind because she hadn’t been following Luo Xi closely before. Although she had heard a lot of gossip, she didn’t pay much attention to it. Now she realized that Luo Xi’s follower count rivaled that of some A-list celebrities!
After scrolling further, she noticed that every one of Luo Xi’s posts was very popular. One post featured a recommended cosmetic product that she had seen trending on Weibo not long ago. At that time, many people recommended it, and she had even considered buying it but had been put off by the low price.
Now she found out it was a product recommended by Luo Xi, and it was so popular?
Could it be that Luo Xi’s flawless skin was due to this product?
Leng Me’er felt a surge of temptation.
After ordering the product, she suddenly realized what a stupid thing she had done.
Oh well, it was a cheap product. Buying it wouldn’t hurt.
With this thought, she shrugged off her concerns, but she had some expectations in her heart, though she wasn’t sure what she was expecting.
