At eight o’clock the next morning, Luo Xi got up early.
It wasn’t because she had classes to attend but because today was her first day on set to shoot. She didn’t want to be late or give anyone the impression that she was acting like a diva.
Although this job was somewhat optional for her, she still felt a sense of responsibility and wanted to treat it with the seriousness it deserved.
Her fans had heard that “My Dear Lady” was starting filming today, and many wanted to come and congratulate Luo Xi.
So when Luo Xi arrived at the film and television city, she was stunned by the sight of so many fans.
They were holding up banners with her name and photos, and the people at the front were waving a long banner that read, “Congratulations to Goddess Xi for her new drama!”
For the first time, she felt the overwhelming sensation of being celebrated, the sense of achievement that comes with being adored by so many people. No wonder so many people strive to become idols.
Her car had recently been on the hot search, so many recognized it. As soon as it stopped, screams erupted from the crowd, both men and women.
Other crew members were envious at the sight.
This “My Dear Lady” was just a small web drama, yet it had such a large following.
Were there even more fans here than in front of other productions?
It was truly a mix of admiration and jealousy.
“Ahhh! Goddess! Goddess!”
“Go, Baby Xi!”
“We will always support you.”
As soon as they saw her, the fans erupted into cheers. Luo Xi was wearing a hat and mask. She was surprised to find that they could still recognize her. If it weren’t for their shouts, she wouldn’t have realized it herself. As she took a few steps, the crowd surged toward her, leaving her stunned for a moment.
Anan quickly stepped in to shield her from the fans and hurried her into the film and television city.
The screams nearly drowned her out, with phrases like, “Love you! Go! You’re the best, Goddess!” ringing in her ears.
Perhaps due to Anan’s strong presence, the crowd didn’t dare to get too close to Luo Xi. Unlike other idols, who often had fans crowding them for selfies or pulling at their clothes, this crowd maintained a respectful distance.
Once inside the film and television city, the fans could no longer follow, and their voices were muffled outside.
Luo Xi took a deep breath. Okay, this scene was a bit terrifying. No wonder those big stars always have dozens of bodyguards around them.
Now it made sense.
Chu Mei, who was dressed in her school uniform, approached with the male lead Zhou Xun. Hearing the cheers outside, they looked at Luo Xi with some envy. “Luo Xi, your popularity is incredible. I heard the director was scared by the fans at the entrance when he arrived this morning.”
Luo Xi smiled lightly, “It’s not a big deal. You’ll have your turn too.”
They both smiled wryly, thinking that if everyone was as lucky as Luo Xi, the world would have collapsed by now.
As soon as Luo Xi entered, she was quickly pulled away to change clothes and get her makeup done.
Since it was a youth idol drama, she needed to wear a school uniform, and the styling was relatively realistic.
This eased some of the tension Luo Xi had been feeling.
As she held the script and practiced her lines, she watched Zhou Xun and Chu Mei rehearsing their scenes.
Well, it seemed a bit exaggerated and awkward.
She hoped her performance wouldn’t turn out like that, otherwise she would be embarrassed to face anyone in the future.
Even though she thought this, Luo Xi had never acted before. She was still worried about her performance.
