FMLRWS Chapter 534

The outcome was predictable.

Mo Xiaoxue was a smart person. If she wanted to usurp Luo Yuyi’s position, she had to plan everything meticulously behind the scenes.

She also understood that Father Luo and Mother Luo wouldn’t easily believe her after the revelation about Luo Yuyi, so she pretended to be oblivious and had Mother Luo conduct a secret paternity test. This way, they wouldn’t raise any suspicions about her.

And Luo Yuyi also had her own calculations, but she never expected that Mo Xiaoxue had already begun plotting her downfall.

Sure enough, this was the true meaning of plastic sisters.

Luo Xi sighed in her heart.

With Father Luo and Mother Luo in a bad mood, they retreated to their rooms.

Only the tense Mo Xiaoxue and Luo Xi were left downstairs.

Luo Xi lounged back, crossing her legs in a relaxed manner, and lazily glanced at Mo Xiaoxue. She asked lightly, “So, don’t you have anything to explain to me?”

This girl had once professed her loyalty and intentions to serve Luo Xi, and Luo Xi hadn’t forgotten.

She had also spent one million for her services.

“Luo, Sister Luo Xi… I…” Mo Xiaoxue stammered, her expression hesitant.

“Don’t call me sister. I never want a sister in this lifetime.” Luo Xi interrupted her impatiently.

Mo Xiaoxue trembled and lowered her head quickly.

“I’m sorry I didn’t inform you about this matter beforehand,” she said apologetically.

“Oh? What matter? The one where you pretend to be my sister to push Luo Yuyi out?” Luo Xi raised an eyebrow and looked at her.

Mo Xiaoxue’s expression grew even more anxious.

“You, you know…”

“Heh, your little tricks might fool my parents, but not me.” Then Luo Xi’s eyes fell on Mo Xiaoxue’s face, which bore some resemblance to her own. She sneered, “You spent a lot of money on the surgery, didn’t you?”

Mo Xiaoxue’s face turned red. “I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. I just didn’t want to live like I used to. And you don’t you dislike Luo Yuyi? I only learned from overhearing her talking to my father that she wasn’t your real sister. That’s why I had this idea. But my original appearance would definitely raise suspicions, so I thought of plastic surgery…”

Luo Xi frowned. “So, you didn’t know Luo Yuyi wasn’t my real sister from the start?”

Weren’t these two used to be sisters?

How could she not know?

A flicker of doubt crossed Luo Xi’s eyes.

“I didn’t know. You know I’m two years younger than Luo Yuyi, so when she was sent by my father, I really thought she was a Luo family daughter,” Mo Xiaoxue said earnestly.

Luo Xi tried to read any signs of lying on her face but found none.

That was strange.

If Luo Yuyi wasn’t her biological sister and Mo Xiaoxue wasn’t either, then how did Mo Xiaoxue’s father have the jade pendant that Mother Luo left for her sister?

Could it really just be a coincidence?

Where did her real sister go? Was she alive or dead…

Luo Xi felt a headache coming on.

“But my father might know something. After all, that jade pendant was given to my sister by him. But now, he has disappeared without a trace.” Mo Xiaoxue added helplessly.

She originally thought that her father had gone abroad to escape debts. When Luo Xi had given her one million, she had planned to call her father to return and pay off the debts. But she couldn’t get in touch with him. Upon investigation, she found out that he didn’t even leave the country, he was simply missing.
