Leng Minxing paused slightly, and Luo Xi looked at him in confusion.

He reached out and pulled her to the side. When Luo Xi realized he didn’t want her to listen, she grew anxious and leaned in to hear better. However, Leng Minxing pressed her down with one hand, causing her to end up nestled in his arms.

He patted her on the head, pulled her to sit on his lap, and then spoke, “Grandma, don’t worry about this.”

The old lady fell silent for two seconds before asking, “Has she angered you again?”

She recalled what Xiao Yu had said. Could it be that Leng Minxing was angry because he heard from Xiao Yu that Bai Yaya had made her steal the blood jade, so he targeted the Bai family?
