“Why did you suddenly change classes?” Luo Xi quickly sensed something was off.
“Cough cough!” The man beside her suddenly coughed twice.
Luo Xi’s attention was immediately drawn to him. She asked worriedly, “Husband, what’s wrong? Is your throat uncomfortable? Are you getting a cold?”
Leng Minxing nodded. “Just a bit.”
He thought to himself that if she hadn’t been so fierce about stealing the blanket at night, perhaps he would be fine.
Ever since this person moved in, he had to take cold showers every morning.
Leng Minxing felt his throat itch again.
Luo Xi successfully shifted her focus and stood up. “I’ll go get the medicine from the butler.”
Saying that, she hurried off to find the butler.
“Young master, are you sick? Should I call a doctor to take a look?” The butler quickly rushed over upon hearing that Leng Minxing was unwell.
“It’s nothing, I’ll be fine in a couple of days.” Leng Minxing waved his hand.
“No way!” Luo Xi said seriously. “Don’t be stubborn. What if it gets worse?”
The butler also felt worried. After all, Leng Minxing couldn’t afford to be sick. Hearing Luo Xi’s words, he immediately called for a private doctor.
When the doctor arrived, it turned out he had a slight fever.
As soon as he got sick, everyone became tense.
The doctor prescribed some medicine, instructed him to take it three times a day, and then left.
Before dinner, Luo Xi counted the medicine he needed to take and brought him a glass of warm water. “Husband, take your medicine.”
Leng Minxing glanced at it and silently took it.
Everyone: Is the sun rising from the west today?
Who doesn’t know that the young master hates taking medicine the most?
It was said that when he was a child, the whole family had to work together just to get him to take his medicine.
Now, he was being so obedient and cute?
“You take it first, I’ll go to the study.” Sure enough, Leng Minxing said.
Going to the study was just an excuse, destroying the evidence of the medicine was the real reason!
Luo Xi didn’t think much of it and nodded.
Naturally, no one dared to say anything more.
Knowing that she kicked the blanket seriously while sleeping, she hugged her own blanket over and returned his blanket to him.
Leng Minxing watched her busying around and found it somewhat amusing. He felt helpless.
It made him feel like he was on the verge of death.
“Xixi, stop being busy and sleep.” Leng Minxing called out when he saw her planning to read late at night.
“I’m coming right away,” Luo Xi replied without looking back.
He wondered what she was working so hard for.
Leng Minxing walked over and saw her writing an English paper. The format was correct, but many of the terms were used improperly and the tenses were inconsistent. The general meaning could be understood, but a professional teacher would probably criticize her.
Leng Minxing pointed out several mistakes and said, “Here, here, and here, they’re wrong.”
Most of the words Luo Xi didn’t know were pieced together by looking them up in the dictionary. Now that Leng Minxing pointed them out, it became embarrassing.
Seeing her confused expression, Leng Minxing pulled over a chair and sat down beside her. His voice was as gentle as a breeze. “I’ll teach you…”
Leng Minxing always thought that Luo Xi’s grades only started to decline after entering high school. After all, she had ranked third in calculus before. However, he didn’t expect her English to be so terrible.
While others could finish a paper in half an hour to an hour, she took over an hour just to write one paragraph!
Even slightly difficult words had to be looked up one by one.
