“What do you mean?” She frowned at Zhu Zhao, somewhat disbelieving.

“Yanyan, Xu Yang pretended to befriend me just to get close to you. Now he’s getting even bolder and actually wants to pursue you. I treated him like a good brother, and yet he’s trying to steal my girl. It’s simply too much! You must not be fooled by him!” Zhu Zhao looked at Jiang Yanyan with a gaze that was both affectionate and concerned.

A hint of disgust flashed in Jiang Yanyan’s eyes. She thought, what did he mean by steal his girl? She had made it clear that they were no longer in a relationship. Why was he pretending to be so deep in feelings now?
