When Luo Xi heard the sound of the car, she knew he must be back. As soon as she opened the door, she saw Leng Minxing going upstairs, so she eagerly asked, “Husband, do you think this dress looks good on me?”

“Hmm? Are you going out?” Leng Minxing glanced at her fitted and beautiful dress but frowned slightly.

“No, I just got back home not long ago. Our teacher sent me a message saying that some investors are coming to our school tomorrow, and I need to go up to present flowers. They said I should dress formally and that the guest is a big shot, so I’m looking for a suitable dress for tomorrow.” She explained.

Leng Minxing’s expression changed slightly: “Presenting flowers?”

“Yes, during the holidays, we were all helped by this investor because he funded the school’s renovations. The school gave us a long break. So now we need to show our gratitude.” Luo Xi smiled and said.

“Mm…” Leng Minxing pondered for a moment, his expression somewhat unnatural.

“What’s wrong?” Luo Xi looked at him with doubts: “Is this dress not good?”

Hua Feifei had been angry recently because Xu Xiaoyu had inexplicably scolded her over that scumbag. Luo Xi’s words made her realize she was taking it too seriously, which might make Xu Xiaoyu think she was interested in that scumbag.

She nodded and said, “You’re right. Why should I compete with her? She might think I’m acting this way because of that scumbag!” She shivered at the thought.

Luo Xi nodded, “I’m glad you can see it that way.”

“But no matter what, we can’t lose momentum. Come on, let me give you a beautiful makeup!” Hua Feifei said, feeling itchy in her hands.
