“What’s your name, little wild cat? How old are you?” The man’s voice echoed softly.
“I, my name is Mu Xi, nineteen years old.”
“Such a beautiful age as a flower,” the man suddenly said thoughtfully. “Alright, you can go.”
Luo Xi looked up in surprise at the man’s direction. She didn’t expect him to let her leave so easily.
“What’s the matter? Can’t bear to leave, or do you want to see what happens to him next?” The man’s voice sounded lazy.
“No, no need, thank you. You’re really a good person!” Luo Xi took a deep breath and quickly said, then rushed out of the room!
Seeing the door slam shut with a “thud” by her, the man chuckled lightly.
A good person?
This was the first time someone said that about him.
Even though she was scared out of her wits, she still pretended and tried to negotiate with him?
She was indeed someone with a great capacity to endure.
Little wild cat, unexpectedly we meet again.
How interesting.
The man swayed the glass containing the red liquid that resembled blood, and his lips curled into a smile.
The man next to him couldn’t help but say, “Master, let her go like this? Do you want me to go…” He made a throat-slitting gesture.
“No need. This little stray cat is not someone you can touch. Let her go.”
The man lazily replied.
“But, what if she reports to the police…”
“She won’t…” The man elegantly drank the wine in his glass, stood up, and looked down at the half-dead man on the ground with a cold and indifferent gaze. Looking into the man’s despairing and fearful eyes, he uttered a few words: “Clean up the mess.”
…
After rushing out of the club, Luo Xi suddenly remembered that Hua Feifei was still waiting for her in the restroom.
She was afraid that the man might change his mind and send someone to deal with her, which would be disastrous. She also didn’t dare stay in the private room any longer. If those people found out that she was with Hua Feifei and the others, who knows what might happen? So without hesitation, she ran out of the club.
This is a place Luo Xi probably never wants to come back to in her lifetime.
She called Zhou Yao and asked her to bring Hua Feifei’s bag over, then explained the situation, telling them to leave early. After that, Luo Xi collapsed on the ground, feeling like she had just escaped from drowning.
Even now, her legs were still trembling uncontrollably.
She wanted to talk about her fears with someone, but she understood that this was something she could never talk about. No matter how scared she was, she had to keep it buried deep inside.
After taking a taxi home, Luo Xi headed straight to her bedroom with an ugly face.
The maids around her saw her like this and looked at each other, puzzled.
Usually, the Young Madam would greet us, so what happened today?
At eleven o’clock, Hua Feifei and Zhou Yao called to let her know that they were safe. Luo Xi finally felt relieved.
That man didn’t see her face today, so he probably shouldn’t remember her.
But for some reason, Luo Xi still felt very scared inside.
She clutched the blanket, and every time she closed her eyes, she saw that bloody scene.
She fell into a dazed sleep, but she felt her head was heavy and her whole body was hot. Suddenly, there was a thunderous boom outside, causing the person on the bed to wake up screaming from a nightmare. A bolt of lightning flashed and illuminated her face, which was pale as paper. On her face, there was a scared and terrified expression!
Blood, so much blood!
The dream was filled with those blood-soaked hands and her body with a steel rod inserted into the forehead, and she was unwilling to die. The blood flowed all over the floor, soaking her clothes and staining her eyes red.
Luo Xi stared blankly at the space in front of her with a pair of big copper bell-like eyes filled with fear. Finally, she closed her eyes in agony, covered her ears, and screamed!
Bang—!
