“Why don’t you tell me about yourself? Nothing good has happened to our family since my son got engaged to you. It shows that you are not a prosperous person. You have brought disaster to my family.”
The more Widow Xu thought about it, the more it made sense. When the Lin family was still on good terms with the Jiang family, how could they have so many worries?
If she thought about it carefully, the people from Huo Lindong’s family came to the Diao family not long after he married Jiang Wu. Could it be that Jiang Wu’s fool was the rumored prosperous wife, and whoever married her would naturally become prosperous?
“Bah, you’ve been eating and using mine all these years. It’s because I’m so blind that I was fooled by you.”
After marrying Lin Pingchun, Xu Baozhu was finally able to understand the feelings of the Jiang family back then. No matter how much she gave, she would not be taken seriously and she would feel depressed when they complained that she did not pay enough.
Thinking of the accusations she made against the Jiang family back then, Xu Baozhu felt that this might be retribution.
In particular, her husband was still inconsiderate. Every time she mentioned to Lin Pingchun that her mother-in-law was rubbing her, Lin Pingchun always told her to be patient. Xu Baozhu didn’t understand why she would debase herself for such a person.
“Since you look down on me so much, don’t live this life anymore. When Lin Pingchun comes back, I will make peace with him. You can find him a prosperous wife.”
Xu Baozhu kicked away the wooden tub with dirty clothes in front of her. After all, she had accepted modern ideas and there was no concept of everlasting marriage.
Now she was disappointed in her marriage, disappointed in Lin Pingchun, and coupled with Jiang Wu’s contrasting stimulation, she just wanted to stop the loss in time. She could no longer live with the Lin family.
“Just leave, without you, Pingchun can find someone better.”
Widow Xu was not afraid either. Ever since Xu Baozhu got married, the amount of money she gave to her had become less and less. Widow Xu didn’t know that her son had privately warned Xu Baozhu not to allow her to do business, so she just assumed that Xu Baozhu couldn’t think of any way to make money.
Her patience for her was dwindling day by day. Now that Xu Baozhu has taken the initiative to divorce, Widow Xu would naturally not try to keep her. She was afraid that if she opened her mouth, Xu Baozhu would pinch her from now on.
“On the other hand, if you leave my Pingchun, who else would be willing to marry a broken shoe like you?”
Widow Xu became more and more cunning, and the words she said were so unpleasant.
Xu Baozhu was so angry that she ran back to her parent’s home without taking anything. On the way, she accidentally met Jiang Wu who was picking flowers accompanied by her maid.
She was still the same as she was before she got married. She was obviously twenty years old, but her eyes were still innocent. It was obvious that she was being held in the palm of someone’s hand and being pampered.
“Why are you always so lucky?”
Xu Baozhu couldn’t hold back and rushed to Jiang Wu to question her.
“Why did you never think about taking Lin Pingchun back after I snatched him away? He is your fiancé, isn’t he?”
The maid serving Jiang Wu wanted to drive away the crazy woman who suddenly rushed out but was stopped by Jiang Wu.
Xu Baozhu was a little upset. If Jiang Wu had not been messing around and insisted on the previous marriage contract, would she not be with Xiao Lindong? But, it was written like this.
It was precisely because there was no Jiang Wu, who should have been a vicious female supporting role, that she and Lin Pingchun would be so unhappy.

This self-important woman is delusional. One minute she’s thinking a’Wu is entirely innocent and simple-minded, the next minute she’s thinking a’Wu should have been a vicious female support character for her romantic comedy. But, like, within the story, Baozhu didn’t travel into a fictional world, she travelled back in time, so why in the world would there be ‘characters’ and ‘roles’ at all?
??? Delulu
Must be nice to be this delusional
