I think it’s like this.

In the first node, Xie Wu had a difficult life, that was, being a maid of Xie Baozhu and not going to school again. Then, Xie Changzheng was injured, came back to his hometown, brought his wife and daughter to the city, and cut off his relationship with his family after learning about his wife and daughter’s treatment from his own family.

In the second node, Xie Baozhu was reborn. She became even crueler to Xie Wu because of jealousy of the previous life. After knowing that her Third Brother was about to come back, she planned to kill Xie Wu by ordering her to find the berry in the mountain. In this life, Xie Wu died in the mountains. Xu Chunxiu found that her daughter died and became crazy. Xie Changzheng, who just came back, found out about the matter and witnessed his wife being crazy. He searched for his daughter’s body, guarded his crazy wife, and took revenge on his relatives.

In the third node (this current life), Xu Chunxiu and Xie Changzheng were reborn with the memoirs of the second node, while Xie Baozhu was reborn with the memories of the first node. According to the second node, Xie Baozhu just wanted to execute her plan to kill Xie Wu, just as she mentioned in this chapter.
