Now that I’m a adult I think children deserve every good thing, to be loved, to be pampered… To raised them to be capable and happy adults. After all, emotional neglect is still a type of abuse. If you don’t bond with your child as a parent, don’t expect them to see you as their parent.
I disagree with the made, material needs are important, but so are emotional needs. If kids don’t need parents then neglect and emotional abuse isn’t a thing and humans should be fine in solitary confinement.
Humans are social creatures and to be well they need mental, physical, and emotional stimulation and fulfillment.
Kids are still young and need more support from the people around them to learn how to behave and socialize.
People accept that unsocialized kittens and puppies tend to have issues and its important to properly expose them to various stimuli and socialize them. Humans are also the same and children have an even longer period of growth and learning before they can fully stand on their own.
