CTTT Chapter 109.2

You must know that this was an awards ceremony, and the words of the award presenters were very important.

Moreover, Mr. Dou Guan hinted at the debate between the film judges behind the scenes to a certain extent, indicating that they could not choose between the two films.

So, who would win the prize?

“Some people think that ‘The Prosperous Dynasty’ directed by Jiang Ting is very well shot, and it is the best holographic movie made about ancient dynasties in the past. It is impeccable in terms of characters and script logic.”

“As we all know, the emergence of holographic technology has overwhelmed reality shooting technology. Therefore, we have lost a large amount of 2D and 3D reality shooting film materials, especially historical movies.”

“Over the years, holographic historical movies have always lacked a sense of historical depth. In the past, there were many directors who traced back to the past, but due to incomplete information, the films they made were not aesthetically pleasing and nondescript. Until Director Jiang Ting appeared.”

“Her appearance told us how to make historical films, how to make photos look good, and how to make photos that have a more historical feel. ‘The Prosperous Dynasty’ recreates the artistic beauty and historical depth of ancient dynasties, which is amazing.”

After Dou Guan finished speaking, he turned his attention to the other director and said with a friendly smile.

“Another film that is comparable to ‘The Prosperous Dynasty’ directed by Jiang Ting is ‘Smile’, which is the debut of Director Lu Zimin. It is obviously a subject matter that exposes the darkness of the underclass society, but the title of the film is ‘Smile’, which shows that Director Lu Zimin has a light in his heart…”

When Jiang Ting heard the words of the award presenter, her heart suddenly became cold. It seemed that she would not be able to win this award.

It was almost an iron rule that whoever name was mentioned by the award presenter at the end of the speech would win the award. Although her movie had a high box office, it was all based on historical themes.

This world had lost a lot of historical materials, and Jiang Ting had the most historical materials and historical films on the earth. Therefore, she spent three years of careful polishing to produce such a work.

Unfortunately, there was a god-level bug that appeared this year, Lu Zimin. His ‘Smile’ was so artistic that it was praised even by foreign countries.

She might lose.

***

Ten years ago, “Masked Life” ended, and Jiang Ting started a hidden mission: Chen Na’s approval. Then, she stayed in this world to complete the hidden mission.

After that, under the torture of the big devil Chen Na, Jiang Ting started her ten years of pain and joy.

After Jiang Ting finished filming “Masked Life”, her popularity exploded, but she still had many flaws. Her manager, Chen Na, thought that her current popularity was frivolous and might disappear within a few months, so she should settle down first and start from scratch.

The direction Chen Na designated for her was to focus on movies.

In this world, due to the emergence of holographic technology, the status of actors was much higher than that of singers, especially movie actors, who were extremely respected.

Although Jiang Ting had studied acting for a while, her acting skills were very poor and she often couldn’t get into the roles.

The emergence of holographic photography technology has raised the threshold for movie actors.

First of all, actors must have the ability to empathize, be able to accept script implantation anytime and anywhere, and integrate with the characters very naturally. If the ability to empathize was not enough, the actors under the holographic lens would appear very stiff.

Secondly, the actors had to learn various body movements, steps, lines, musical instruments, languages, and other skills, not to be proficient, but to fool people.

On the other hand, TV actors did not have so many high standards. TV actors did not need empathy and were relatively relaxed.

Everything else about Jiang Ting was okay. When Chen Na first put her on the movie crew, the crew asked her to learn whatever she wanted, but the only difference was in her ability to empathize.

She was naturally cold-hearted, and having to learn to empathize, integrate with the characters, and feel the characters’ love and hatred could drive her crazy.

Therefore, she understood why the status of movie actors in this world was very high.

The high status of movie actors was not due to the popularity of fans, but because many seniors in the movie actor profession were unable to act after filming, leading to mental breakdown, madness, or death.

These were not just one or two examples. Almost every year, one or two movie actors from various countries would go crazy or die.

Jiang Ting once even saw a crew filming a movie. The character played by the male protagonist died in the movie, and the character played by the female protagonist committed suicide immediately after. After the two actors finished filming, they were still talking and laughing and ran away to promote the movie.

As a result, half a month later, the actress suddenly committed suicide at home, shocking countless viewers. The way she died was exactly the same as the female protagonist in the movie.

This was the fate of movie actors who couldn’t get out of the character.
