Back in Baoyue Peak, Xu Cai transplanted the spiritual herbs that weren’t mature yet into their spiritual field.

Qian Yan planned to use all the mature spiritual herbs to refine elixirs. Chu Pingyu’s storage ring contained quite a few valuable items. However, nurturing six disciples was quite a significant expense, especially her eldest disciple, Ye Huaifeng.

While it was impressive that he had progressed from having a shattered spiritual root to the Foundation Building stage, forming the golden core would not be easy for him.

Then there was her youngest disciple, Xu Cai, whose natural talent was less remarkable.  Her path to immortality would be quite challenging because of that.

When she took on this responsibility, her initial idea was to have all six disciples attain immortality. Naturally, this required a great deal of effort and resources.

Moreover, all the skills in this world were unfamiliar to her. She had heard very little about them in her previous life and had never seen them in practice.

She needed to master all the skills and knowledge that the original host had attained while staying in this world.

The members of the Chu family on Dengyun Peak, on the other hand, showed no intention of causing any more trouble for the time being. The three of them were discussing how to handle the situation.

“We’re no match for Sister. We should wait for Little Brother to come out of seclusion,” Chu Xiaoyue suggested. She strongly disliked Chu Pingyu, but she still had to admit that he still had his uses. In contrast, it seemed unlikely that they could gain much from Qianyan, so she chose to align herself with Chu Pingyu.

If only Chu Qianyan had treated her a bit better, things wouldn’t have come to this.

“This is the only way.” Chu Chengxi sighed. His head ached as he thought about their past actions. “When Pingyu comes out of seclusion, we must make Daidi pay for what she’s done. We’ve all lost sight of our roots in our quest for immortality.”

QianYan spent the night refining elixirs and sorting through the items that she had taken from Chu Pingyu’s storage ring. She found many valuable things to provide for her two disciples.

Ye Huaifeng, seeing himself and his junior sister fully equipped, felt more at ease.

“I need to go out for a while.”

“Your cultivation isn’t strong enough right now. Focus on your cultivation. Your resources have already been kept aside for you. Don’t leave.”

The Chu family wasn’t likely to come after them, and even if they did, Ye Huaifeng could handle them on his own. Chu Pingyu wouldn’t be coming out of seclusion for a while, and even if he woke temporarily, he wouldn’t be able to leave.

So, there was nothing to worry about.

Qianyan didn’t give her disciples a chance to respond and gracefully floated away on her sword.

Her third and fourth disciples would soon run into trouble, so she needed to retrieve them first and then decide on her next steps.

Ye Huaifeng stood in place, silent, clenching his fists, before turning to go back to his room and continuing his cultivation.

“Song Qingyun, Qian Moning, you are going too far. I was the one who found this, so it’s unreasonable that I have to give it to you,” Ye Cai said.

She held onto her storage bag with a look of anger. These two individuals were disciples of Chu Pingyu and often acted arrogantly. She couldn’t give them what she had; it was meant for her senior brother. Maybe it could help him recover a bit.

“Fourth Junior Sister, you have to leave first, no matter what. Get the items back there,” Nie Hu whispered. He was the third eldest and appeared large and honest, but he had a fiery temper.

Ye Cai refused. “We should leave together. You can’t handle the two of them alone. Besides, they already took some things from us, and we need to get them back.”

Song Qingyun looked at the two people in front of her with complete indifference and casually twirled her beautiful sword flower. “I’m already in the later stage of Golden Core. The two of you combined are no match for me. Be wise and hand what you have to me.”

She didn’t really care about the items, but they had a certain benefit of nurturing spiritual roots. She couldn’t let them fall into the hands of Ye Huaifeng.

Thinking of Ye Huaifeng, Song Qingyun’s expression subtly changed. If he had been sensible and followed her back then, everything would have been much easier.
