The scheduled photoshoot for the fluffy ones was quickly put on the agenda. The photographer hoped to feature the photos on the studio’s official website for promotion as soon as possible.
This collaboration was a win-win for both the cat café and the studio. Pei Shiyi discussed the date and location with the photographer. After some back-and-forth debate over the usage rights of the photos, they finally finalized the partnership.
Although the preliminary preparations were tedious, the actual photoshoot turned out to be much more relaxed.
On the last day of shooting, as they wrapped up, the photographer kept flipping through the photos and smiled, saying, “When I have time, I must visit the cat café. Your cats are so spirited. I feel like I can sense their awareness of the world just by looking into their eyes.”

Song Gao whispered, “Goodnight kiss.”
Pei Shiyi immediately kissed his forehead. “Goodnight, sweetheart.”
Satisfied, Song Gao curled up beside his pillow. Just as Pei Shiyi was about to close his eyes and rest, he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. He tilted his head. “What is it?”
Bo Jin tugged at Pei Shiyi’s shoulder. “What about me?”
Pei Shiyi: “…”
He was truly at a loss. He leaned over and gave him a kiss.
However, after the kiss, Pei Shiyi sensed trouble. He turned his head and, sure enough, saw over a dozen pairs of sparkling eyes. Before he could say anything, the enthusiastic fluffballs all pounced on him:

Recently, customers at the cat café have noticed that several cats have become particularly lively, climbing up and down the cat trees every day.
This is the second floor of the cat café, home to the largest cat tree in the entire place. It stretches from the floor all the way to the ceiling, beautifully crafted but quite steep, with wide gaps between platforms, cat beds, and cat houses. The adult cats, with their impressive agility, can easily leap to the top, while the kittens struggle to climb and usually prefer playing on the smaller cat trees in the glass room.
Now, two noticeably smaller cats were climbing the large cat tree.
One was a curled-ear cat, already perched on the third-level platform. In contrast, the other little orange cat was struggling. Raised with a round face and a plump belly, big eyes and a small nose, its appearance was incredibly sweet. At this moment, it was making a determined effort to leap onto the third-level platform.
On the platform, the curled-ear Meng Xia meowed encouragingly at Xiao Man, urging her to jump higher.
Meanwhile, in the middle and lower sections of the cat tree, Yin Zhou lay in a cat bed, peering out with a pair of watchful eyes as he observed the two little ones.

Dazed, Xiao Man looked up and, recognizing it was big brother Yin Zhou, let out a happy meow before burying her head into Yin Zhou’s belly.
Startled, Yin Zhou jumped up on the spot, hopping twice in quick succession before settling back onto the platform, peering down cautiously from above.
With the furry belly suddenly gone, Xiao Man looked around in confusion. Meng Xia quickly jumped down from the cat tree and hurried over to give Xiao Man a comforting lick.
Only then did the customers snap out of their daze, amazed by Yin Zhou’s swift and agile movements. They began asking each other excitedly, “Did you get that on video? Yin Zhou was so cool!”
“I didn’t even have time to react! Yin Zhou is just… so adorable and cool! He usually seems so aloof and doesn’t play with us. Who knew he would rescue a kitten? So gentle!”
“I think I’m falling in love with Yin Zhou!”

Pei Shiyi returned to the cat café, planning to first store the photo album in the storage room on the first floor. He would open it with the cats later that evening after they had been bathed and settled in for the night. As soon as he stepped into the storage room, Sui Shou darted past him from behind.
Pei Shiyi instinctively glanced sideways and saw Sui Shou digging a tube of nutritional paste out of Dan Huang’s large resting nest. Then, dragging the paste, Sui Shou went to find Bo Jin, meowing insistently.
Bo Jin bent down to open the nutritional paste for him. Sui Shou happily rubbed against him and then, dragging the paste, sneaked around in a winding path before crawling under a low table. Meng Xia sat alertly by the table, clearly keeping watch.
Pei Shiyi hid behind a pillar and peered under the table, gritting his teeth at the sight. Xiao Man was lying under the table, licking the nutritional paste.
Sui Shou even wore a doting expression, looking exactly like the proud father Dan Huang.
Exercise burns one ounce, snacks add two. No wonder she wasn’t losing weight!
