It’s Monday again~~
Be happy, and let’s work hard, everyone!! ❤️
On the other side, after An An trimmed the branches, it was almost dark.
After dinner, she wandered around in the huge living room, thinking about what else to play.
There were lots and lots of puzzles at Grandma’s house, but she was tired of playing with them. She held her chin with both hands and looked unhappy.
Cen Yanjun said: “Little girl, what do you want to play? Tell me, I’ll let the old man play with you.”
Old Mr. Gu frowned.
It would be fine for him to play with the little girl since he had nothing to do anyway.
But why was it that even though he had known the child for many days, he could only be called ‘old man’?
He now suspected that this whole family was just trying to piss him off.
In comparison, the daughter-in-law who looked the most unreliable was more polite to him.
The old man sighed.
“What can you play with me, old man?” An An asked listlessly.
“Eagle chasing chicken? Old wolf, old wolf, what time is it? Drop the handkerchief?” Cen Yanjun listed several old games in one breath.
But these games were played by her son when he was in kindergarten. It was a different era now, and her little granddaughter didn’t like them.
Cen Yanjun also sighed. There were too few toys at home. Tomorrow morning, she will ask the driver to take her to buy a car full of toys.
Two old ones and one young one were in a dilemma at the same time.
After a while, An An suddenly said, “Ah! Yes!”
“What?” Cen Yanjun asked curiously.
“I want to see frogs.” The little dumpling said seriously.
After playing the frog game with her mother that day, an idea popped up in her little head: She wanted to see real frogs.
This stumped Cen Yanjun. She wondered, “Where can we see frogs? Are there any in the zoo?”
An An had been to the zoo.
She counted all the small animals that she had seen with her little fingers, and finally, she said seriously, “There are no frogs in the zoo.”
Cen Yanjun didn’t know whether to laugh or cry: “Little girl, you have to ask for something that we can do. For example, buy toys, go to the park, watch cartoons, etc. It’s so late now, where can we find frogs for you?”
The little dumpling said ‘Ah!’ and turned to look at the old man.
The old man leaned on the sofa to read the newspaper, pushed his reading glasses, and glanced at An An.
“Can’t we see frogs?” An An’s baby voice was full of disappointment.
Cen Yanjun smiled and rubbed her head: “There’s really no way. Let’s play something else.”
An An was not a child who would embarrass others, but she really wanted to see frogs, and she wanted to take pictures of the little frogs with her phone watch and send them to her mother.
She lowered her eyes, raised her head again, and went to find Old Mr. Gu.
“Grandpa, do you have a solution?” An An asked.
She remembered the old man saying that he was the smartest person in the family.
After a glimmer of hope rekindled in her heart, the little girl blinked her eyes and looked at Old Mr. Gu expectantly.
The old man thought carefully and put down the newspaper: “There is a way, but you have to agree to one of my requests first. Do you agree?”
An An’s eyes sparkled. She nodded vigorously: “Okay!”
“Just call me Grandpa.” Said Old Mr. Gu.
Cen Yanjun pushed him and said, “Don’t promise things you can’t do. Aren’t you afraid that the little girl will be sad?”
But as soon as she finished speaking, An An had already answered.
“Grandpa!”
