Yu Zhuyin looked in the direction of the sound.

Touching him wasn’t entirely out of the question, but they shouldn’t have provoked Jiang Nanshu.

His destructive urges reached their peak whenever he thought about what might happen to Jiang Nanshu.

He slowly exhaled a puff of smoke, looked up at Yu Zhuyin, and smiled: “Miss Yu, do you like it? It’s a gift from me.”

He laughed and said, “Southern Myanmar’s influence can’t reach China. If they dare to come over, I’ll make sure they never return.”

Yu Zhuyin pursed her lips, her pupils wide open with fear, overflowing with terror.

“Do you still like me?” He asked.

His light words sounded exceptionally gentle to Yu Zhuyin’s ears.

She swallowed hard.

Her gaze was fixed on Lu Qingyan’s face.

She didn’t know why he seemed so unapproachable when he was cold, but also had a fatal attraction for her when he was in a bad mood.

She remained silent, refusing to answer Lu Qingyan’s question.

“Looks like you still want to disgust me.” Lu Qingyan said, slightly raising his chin to look above Yu Zhuyin.

“Then I’ll just have to give you another big gift.”

Yu Zhuyin had a bad feeling. She looked up, her eyes wide.

Above her head was a net crawling with snakes; as soon as the net was lowered, all the snakes would fall onto her.

Her face turned deathly pale, and she murmured, “No… don’t do this to me, get away, get away…”

Lu Qingyan withdrew his gaze, and the net suddenly snapped.

An even more piercing scream rang out, and then silence fell.

Lu Qingyan’s gaze was indifferent. Yu Zhuyin, surrounded by snakes, had already fainted.

He scoffed inwardly, thinking, “Nothing special.”

A black figure rushed in quickly, stepping over the snakes, and swiftly carried Yu Zhuyin, who was covered in snake bite marks, out.

As he passed Lu Qingyan, his gaze turned sinister: “Mr. Lu, are you making it clear that you’re going against our boss? You know the consequences.”

Lu Qingyan didn’t even bother to glance at them, his voice cold: “Take Yu Zhuyin and get out of here. Also, tell Yu Xiao that I’m always ready to play with him.”
