Another guard ripped out the woman’s tongue, slashing the sharp knife across her lips.

“Anyone who harbors such thoughts will suffer this fate. Okay, go back.” The nanny waved her hand, granting amnesty to everyone.

Once back at the Beauty Pavilion, many people hurried back to their rooms, where they soon heard the sounds of vomiting.

Bei Yutang walked into the room. Gesang lay in a corner, retching profusely.

When she had almost finished vomiting, a silk handkerchief appeared before her. She took it and wiped the corner of her mouth, her face pale.

Gesang’s eyes were filled with tears, and her voice choked with choking, “Yutang, I don’t want to stay here. It’s too horrible here. Woo, woo, I don’t want to die yet.”

“Shh.” Bei Yutang pressed a finger to her lips.

“Don’t ever say that again, or you’ll bring disaster upon yourself.”

Gesang closed her mouth in fear, but tears continued to fall freely.
