TSFLIP Chapter 462

Feng Guang’s heart started racing, and her mind went blank. She asked hesitantly, “Am I… am I going to feel really nervous again?”

“Yes, you will,” Ji Mian replied, his tone a little odd. “Feng Guang, why is your face suddenly so red and hot… Do you have a fever?”

“I…” She shut her mouth again, as if the words were too hard to say.

Ji Mian asked gently, “What’s wrong, Feng Guang?”

“Brother… If I tell you, promise you won’t think I’m a pervert…”

With warmth, he replied, “No matter what you say, I’d never think that about you.”

“I think… I think the way I like you… It’s the romantic kind,” she said, tugging nervously at the hem of her skirt. “But we’re brother and sister, so… so I feel like there’s something wrong with me…”

Ji Mian had to fight the overwhelming urge to pick her up and take her away that very second. God knew all the things he’d just said were carefully crafted to guide her toward this very conclusion. But hearing the word “love” come out of her mouth, seeing her flushed and embarrassed, was somehow even more irresistible than he’d imagined.

“There’s nothing wrong with you. It’s not your fault,” he said, pulling her into his arms and unconsciously holding her tighter. “You and I aren’t related by blood. So even if you feel that way about me, no one has the right to judge you.”

Even if—just hypothetically—they were blood-related, so what? If Ji Mian wanted something, he’d get it, no matter what it took.

Feng Guang still looked stunned. Over the years, they had held hands before—it wasn’t unusual. But this was the first time he had pulled her into his arms like this, holding her with such intensity it felt as though he didn’t want to ever let go.

“Then… brother, what kind of feelings do you have for me?”

From above her head, she heard his low, steady voice. “If my life were to go on without you in it, then I’d rather see the world fall apart. No one else deserves happiness if you’re not there.”

“Brother…!”

Before she could say more, he tilted her chin up and kissed her, catching her completely off guard.

The kiss came like a wave crashing down—sudden and overwhelming. Her mind went blank. Eventually, she stopped resisting the confusion and simply closed her eyes, letting herself be swept into the moment, as if it were the only natural thing to do.

But the intensity soon became too much. Ji Mian seemed to realize this, and his movements slowed. His touch grew gentler, no longer urgent but instead careful, patient, as though he was teaching her how to respond, inviting her to meet him halfway.

True closeness, after all, couldn’t be one-sided. It needed both hearts to beat in sync. Ji Mian had planned everything out, down to the smallest detail. And in the end, the one who would reap the full reward of this connection… would be him.

When they finally broke apart, she leaned against him, breathless and weak, her fingers clutching the fabric of his shirt. He held her tightly, thinking how lovely her flushed cheeks looked. He kissed her again—softly this time—like he couldn’t bear to be apart, not even for a second.
