Shen Yao looked at the wild fruit trees ahead. There were wild jujubes, chestnuts, and persimmons. Since no one had ever picked them before, many fruits still hung on the branches.

Although these wild persimmons weren’t large, they were very sweet. Without hesitation, Shen Yao climbed the tree and began picking the fruits. The more she looked, the more she craved them. Xiao Ling was nearly in tears in the space. Her master was so bad. She had known this would happen. Besides being someone who was a fan of good looks, nice hands, and pleasant voices, her master also had a soft spot for furry things. Whenever she saw them, she couldn’t bear to let them go.

“So, Xiao Ling, this is what you call a group of large predators?” Shen Yao’s face darkened. This was clearly a super adorable little white wolf cub. How was that a group of predators?

“Hmph, Master, if you dare adopt it, I won’t talk to you for half a year. No, a whole year!” Xiao Ling didn’t care. She had to do everything possible to stop this, or her position was doomed.

Awoo! The little white wolf responded and continued biting Shen Yao’s pant leg and pulling forward. But it was so tiny it couldn’t pull her at all and ended up tumbling over.

Pfft! Shen Yao found this little white wolf incredibly cute. Without hesitation, she began to follow it. She wanted to see where this little creature was trying to take her.

“Xiao Ling, scan this mountain. Is there anything hidden that you can’t detect?”

Shen Yao strongly suspected there was. She had felt something strange earlier, that there would be a surprise on this mountain. Now that a little white wolf had suddenly appeared, her guess seemed correct.

“Master, I already scanned the entire mountain range earlier. There was nothing unusual.” Xiao Ling found it strange too. Could there be some kind of formation blocking its scan?
