TSFLIP Chapter 926

But Situ You seemed not to realize one thing: Xia Fengguang’s bloodline was right there. If she truly gave orders to someone, those people simply wouldn’t have the ability to refuse.

Yan Bai grimly picked up Fengguang’s suitcase, wondering how many lifetimes of bad luck he must have accumulated to end up like this.

He followed her upstairs all the way to Room 302. Fengguang took out her key and opened the door. Seeing that the room was neat, with none of the dust she’d imagined, she finally relaxed. She turned back to Yan Bai and said, “You can put it down.”

Yan Bai set the suitcase down and asked timidly, “Is there anything else you need, my lady?”

“No. You can go now.”

“Yes.” Yan Bai nodded, and in the very next second, he vanished without a trace.

Fengguang dragged her suitcase into the room and shut the door. Not long after, she received a call from her father. After all, he was still her biological dad—calling to check on her was only natural. She casually said everything was fine, hung up, flopped onto the bed, and fell asleep almost immediately.

Fengguang could be considered an oddity among vampires. Normally, night was the beginning of a vampire’s “day,” but she was different. Nighttime was when she slept. Not only did she not drink blood—she even kept the same schedule as humans. It was like a human who slept all day and only came alive at night. If that wasn’t strange, what was?

Aside from the Xia family, no one else knew that she lived in complete opposition to typical vampire habits. Though she had gained the identity of a vampire after coming to this world, deep down, she still believed she was just an ordinary human.

Because the hike had exhausted her, she slept straight through until one o’clock in the afternoon the next day. Sitting up in bed, she stared blankly at the sunlight filtering faintly through the curtains. It took her a while to realize she wasn’t at home anymore. Then she clutched her stomach, which was protesting fiercely.

She was starving.

Fengguang changed clothes—once again into a long-sleeved, knee-length dress—and grabbed a white lace parasol before leaving her room. The dormitory was extremely quiet. At this hour, it was prime sleeping time for vampires. She didn’t see a single person as she walked out of the building. Looking up at the blazing sun, she resigned herself to opening her parasol and followed the route she remembered from yesterday, heading out of the A Division dorm area.

For vampires, Osiris Academy only allowed one day off per month. In other words, while human students could go home every weekend, vampires had to wait four weeks before they were allowed to leave campus. Today was Sunday. The human students who’d gone home probably wouldn’t return until around four or five in the afternoon, so Fengguang didn’t encounter anyone along the way.

She sadly realized she couldn’t even find someone to ask for directions to the cafeteria.

She briefly considered calling her dad to bring her food—but at this hour, it would be two or three in the morning for vampires. She figured her dad would scold her first and then hang up on her.

Fengguang walked under the shade of a tree, clutched her stomach, propped herself up with the parasol, and squatted down. She looked utterly pitiful.

“Meow~”

A pitch-black cat curiously jumped down from the tree. It stood in front of Fengguang and let out a soft meow.

Fengguang looked at it listlessly. “What’s your name?”

“Meow~”

“Well, that’s a pretty good name.” She seemed to perk up just a little. “Can you take me to the cafeteria?”
