FSC [QT] Chapter 13.2

Because she suffers from a stupid disease, Jiang Wu is extremely slow to do things that may seem simple to others. She neatly spread out the three pieces of clothing that she was going to wear today on the bed. Then, she carefully identified which piece of clothing should be worn inside, which piece should be worn next, and which piece should be worn last.

There was a reason why Ah Wu felt that she was not ‘Jiang Wu’ because the things she had done thousands of times were always so strange to her who first became Jiang Wu.

But, she could not figure out who she really was and where she came from. The stupid illness left to her by her original body did not allow her to think about such complicated issues.

Fortunately, although Ah Wu was ignorant, she was very willing to learn things that were unfamiliar to her and adapt to all the memories and bonds left by this body.

“Ah Wu is dressed.”

After putting on three pieces of clothing, the little girl seemed to have accomplished some great tasks. She opened her two thin little arms. If she hadn’t put on her skirt yet, she was afraid that she could have stood up and turned 360 degrees to let Grandma Ding appreciate the results of her hard work after the incense stick.

“Ah Wu is so smart.”

Grandma Ding watched her grow up. Jiang Wu’s intellectual development was slow, so she did not know how to wear clothes even when she was seven or eight years old.

Many times she or Jiang Baozong had to do it for her, but how could a child of this age let his father dress her? Later, Jiang Baozong made up his mind and asked her to cooperate with him in teaching Ah Wu how to dress.

Ah Wu was very slow to learn such a simple thing. She would either put her head in the cuffs or tie the top and bottom buttons in a mess. At that time, Ah Wu was very fond of crying. She asked her father to help her get dressed, and she cried sadly several times.

Ah Wu’s crying was different from the heartbreaking cries of other children clamoring for sweets. Her voice was thin, and even when she cried, she was sobbing very quietly. But it was this not-so-loud, intermittent cry that could make a person’s heart clench into a ball, making people want to give her whatever she wanted right away.

Mrs. Ding could not bear it. In her opinion, if a girl could not learn how to wear clothes, she should not learn to wear them. At worst, she would take care of the little girl and dress her for the rest of her life.

However, she never expected that the most hard-hearted person in this matter would be Mr. Jiang, who loves the girl to the core.

The other party endured and watched the girl cry until she had cried enough and realized that no one would indulge her. She sobbed softly and burped, slowly and leisurely picked up the mess of clothes, pouted, and started learning again.

Until now, the girl still did not get dressed very quickly. Especially in winter, when there were more clothes to wear, it took half an hour just to lay out the clothes she needed to wear every day on the bed one by one and choose the order of dressing.

It was only now, when Ah Wu was about to get married, that Grandma Ding vaguely understood how well-intentioned Jiang Baozong was when he was cruel.
