Bei Yutang stabbed the lion and, as she rolled out, she was scratched on the arm by another lion’s claw. Fortunately, she reacted quickly and struck the lion with Ice Palm, instantly paralyzing it and allowing her to escape.
The other two lions followed suit, their attacks giving Bei Yutang no chance to breathe. Enduring the cramping pain in her arms and back, Bei Yutang seized the opportunity and rolled over to straddle one of the lions.
The lion, sensing its prey on its back, twisted its body frantically, trying to shake her off.
Bei Yutang grabbed its neck tightly, but it cleverly tried to slam her into the wall, swiftly moving toward it.
Seeing the lion behind her being thrown away, Bei Yutang launched an Ice Palm strike, halting the lion’s movement. At that moment, Bei Yutang grasped the wire with her other hand, channeling her inner energy into it and fiercely stabbing it into the lion’s head.
The series of movements took place in the blink of an eye, so fast that many people were caught off guard before the majestic lion collapsed to the ground.
A gasp erupted from the stands. Everyone stared at her in shock.
Killing a lion previously might have seemed like a coincidence to them. Now, with another lion dead at her hands, it was no longer possible to claim that she was simply lucky.
Bei Yutang leaped off the lion, but her footing gave way as soon as she touched the ground, nearly causing her to fall. She steadied herself, her eyes clouded with sweat and blood.
She bit her lower lip and slowly stood up, reaching out to wipe the blood from the corners of her eyes. Her face was covered in dirt, a mixture of mud and blood.
Her beautiful features were gone, now etched with fatigue, yet her eyes remained bright and resolute, holding a hint of unyielding determination.
The two lions opposite her roared simultaneously, their voices brimming with anger.
As if on a pre-arranged agreement, the two lions charged at Bei Yutang simultaneously.
Bei Yutang spread her legs slightly apart, half-bent her body, holding the wire tightly in her hands, and staring at the two giant beasts that were approaching with sharp eyes.
They were very fast, and in the blink of an eye, they were already in front of Bei Yutang, one with a bloody mouth wide open, and the other with sharp claws heading toward her.
They attacked from both sides, leaving her with no way to retreat.
Bei Yutang was forced to retreat rapidly. Behind her was a high stone wall. She stepped on it and leaped, using the wall’s force to launch herself into the air, soaring over the two lions.
When she landed, she rolled violently. The wound on her back was pierced by the sharp stone, and the pain made cold sweat break out on her forehead.
She didn’t have time to cry out in pain as the two lions charged at her again.
Bei Yutang ran back, and just like before, the two lions seemed to be about to use the same trick again, one of them leaping into the air and pouncing on her. However, this time, Bei Yutang didn’t kick the stone wall, but slid down, preparing to slide under the other lion’s body.
The lion, as if possessed by a spirit, ignored her attack and slashed its sharp claws downwards, aiming directly at her face.
It was too late for Bei Yutang to withdraw.
If that claw had struck her, her head would have exploded.
Bei Yutang raised her hand almost without thinking, blocking the claw with her arm.
“Hiss!” Bei Yutang cried out involuntarily.
