Yin Jiarou looked at her for a while and suddenly asked: “Do you know why I came to question you two today?”

Zheng Jie shook her head.

Yin Jiarou: “Because we are afraid that someone else will sneak into the base and destroy our base with the help of someone else.”

Zheng Jie was bewildered at first, but her pupils shrank sharply after she reacted: “I didn’t, it wasn’t me!”

Chen Mingming rose from her chair with a swift movement: “Base Commander, I’m not a spy. I truly am not.”

Yin Jiarou: “Since you are not, then the spy must be Zheng Jie. Do you think there is something wrong with her?”

Chen Mingming was stunned, frowning and looking conflicted.

Yin Jiarou said: “You don’t want to come out and testify? But for the good of the base, you must tell the truth.”

Chen Mingming hesitated and said, “I don’t know if there is anything wrong. She doesn’t like to talk, and we don’t know where she came from.”

Yin Jiarou asked calmly, “Anything else? You’ve been together for so long, so you should have noticed her.”

Chen Mingming was shaking.

Yin Jiarou did not urge her.

After a moment, tears fell from Chen Mingming’s eyes. She suddenly knelt before Yin Jiarou and said, “Base Commander, I really don’t know. I know nothing.”

Yin Jiarou had a blank expression on her face: “You look like you know something. Are you trying to protect a spy?”

Chen Mingming didn’t say anything.

Chen Mingming is most likely the ‘Saint’.
