王 wang: king, prince; also equivalent to “His [Your] Royal Highness.”
This is a title that is given to the imperial princes and non-imperial princes.
Imperial princes are those who can claim a relation to an emperor. He, or one of his male ancestors, was a son of the emperor.
Non-imperial princes can occur for a variety of other reasons (e.g., as a reward bestowed by the Emperor for outstanding military or political service, etc.). There are also rankings within wang as a major rank.
Previously, I sometimes used King Jin or Jin Wang because I forgot what title I had used for him, hehe…
But it’s the same person.
