Ziwei Zhenjun glanced at Jun Yu, then at Feng Guang, and finally covered his mouth and vanished from the room. Jun Yu’s eyes went cold, and he disappeared from the doorway of the hospital room as well—it looked like he was going after Ziwei Zhenjun.

The only one whose expression changed was Xia Yanyu. She lowered her eyes, her breathing going still. She was, of course, referring to that day Feng Guang had stopped Xia Yanyu for Tang Xiaole’s sake.
Feng Guang waved it off. “It’s nothing… but, uh, can I ask you something? What’s your relationship with Tang Xiaole?”
“Zhao Yi and I are love rivals. Now, do you get it?” Chen Haitang arched a brow, exuding elegance and poise.
Wait—so they were a couple?

Feng Guang wiped away some imaginary drool, then suddenly remembered something. “If Tang Xiaole wasn’t killed by you, then who was it?”
“It was Zhao Yi.” Tang Xiaole’s tone was heavy with sorrow. “At the time… I was in the hospital from a car accident. That night, I got a text from Zhao Yi, asking me to meet him on the rooftop to talk. Next thing I knew… I was falling from the building.”
“That’s impossible! From what I saw, Zhao Yi liked you—”
“Exactly. Even I couldn’t believe he’d do that to me.”
Chen Haitang stepped in front of Tang Xiaole, glaring at her with clear irritation. “Just a sly, conniving man. Not worth shedding tears over.”
“What are you guys even talking about?” Feng Guang was completely lost.
“I’ll tell you everything from the beginning,” Chen Haitang said.
Feng Guang nodded and listened.
Three years ago, Chen Haitang, Tang Xiaole, and Zhao Yi were all brand-new freshmen. Everyone thought Chen Haitang had fallen in love with Zhao Yi at first sight—but in truth, the one she had her eyes on was Tang Xiaole.
