As soon as she went out, she ran into Aunt Xu from next door.

“Sister, I haven’t seen you for several days.”

“I haven’t felt well these two days, so I’m resting at home.” Bei Yutang said with a smile.

Aunt Xu looked at her, “Are you feeling better now?”

“Much better.”

After Bei Yutang walked out of the alley, she headed toward the academy.

When she arrived at the place, she found that the academy was pitch black and there was no light on, which meant that there was no one inside. Since there was no one, it meant that Xiao Zimo was not there.

Bei Yutang knew Xiao Zimo’s character. He would never run to play elsewhere unless he encountered something.

Bei Yutang was very worried. She looked around and found a pancake shop near the academy.

“Auntie, I want to ask. When was the class at Master Zhang’s academy over?”

The lady still had some impression of Bei Yutang, “Are you here to pick up your child?”

“Yes, yes.” Bei Yutang nodded in response.

“Your child seems to be sick. Master Zhang is taking him to see a doctor. I think he went to the medicine shop on the next street.” The lady said.

Bei Yutang found the medicine shop, as she said. As soon as she entered, she glanced around the shop.

A clerk came forward and asked, “Madam, what medicine do you want to get?”

“Did Master Zhang bring a child here to see a doctor just now?” Bei Yutang asked.

The clerk shook his head, “No. I think they went to other medicine shops.”

After thanking him, Bei Yutang began to look for them in the nearby medicine shops. After searching one by one, no one saw any trace of Master Zhang and Xiao Zimo. This made Bei Yutang alert and had a bad premonition.

Bei Yutang hurriedly returned to the academy where Master Zhang was. The pancake lady was surprised to see her return alone.

“Haven’t you found your child yet?”

“Yes. I haven’t seen him.”

“Then they shouldn’t have gone to that medicine shop. You can go to other medicine shops to have a look.” The pancake lady suggested.

But Bei Yutang asked, “Auntie, I want to ask. Where is Master Zhang’s home?”

The pancake lady was stunned. After thinking for a long time, she couldn’t remember it.

The pancake lady thought that she was familiar with him, but now she found out that she didn’t know where Master Zhang lived.

Bei Yutang thanked the pancake shop lady and left in a hurry.

When there was no one around, she climbed over the wall in a secluded alley and entered the academy.

She pushed the door and entered the academy. There were rows of tables and chairs in the room, clean and neatly placed there.
