[QTC] MBDT Chapter 1235

They did not alarm anyone. People did not even know that they had moved into the yard.

That day, Bei Yutang and Xiao Zimo were busy tidying up the house all morning.

This is a two-floor house with a patio in the middle, which has good lighting and a relatively open yard outside, which is convenient for Xiao Zimo to practice martial arts on weekdays.

The horse was led to the firewood room at the back of the yard, and all the racks on it were removed.

After running around for the past few days, both the people and the horse were tired.

Now they could have a good rest.

Bei Yutang and Xiao Zimo were busy for the whole morning. They cleaned up the house they lived in. Because this house had many rooms, they specially cleaned out two bedrooms.

After cleaning the house, the two of them went out to buy something. Bei Yutang bought a lot of food and daily necessities in one go.

After it was done, Bei Yutang specially cooked a bowl of braised pork in the evening, then held the bowl of braised pork, and knocked on the door of the house next door.

Auntie Xu opened the door and smelled the delicious smell.

“Sister, are you moving in today?” Auntie Xu was a little surprised.

“Yes. Auntie, this is the meat I made, you can try it. Don’t mind if my cooking is not good.” Bei Yutang handed the bowl of braised pork to Aunt Xu.

Auntie Xu hesitated for a while and then accepted it.

After Bei Yutang left, Auntie Xu was still muttering that she was sensible.

Bei Yutang went to the town to inquire about the school the next day.

There are quite a few schools in Baiyun Town. Many of them are teachers invited by local wealthy families for their children. At the same time, they will also accept some children from other families to keep their own children company.

Bei Yutang asked around in the bookstore and found out that there was a teacher with good talent and learning, but the teacher was quite young, which made many parents unwilling to give their children to him.

Bei Yutang learned from the last time she looked for a teacher and deliberately went to the teacher’s house to ask around.

The neighbors all praised the teacher, saying that he was well-educated, talented, and knowledgeable, but he was just unlucky. He took the imperial examinations several times, but either something happened at home or he was sick, which made him delay again and again.

Bei Yutang glanced at the teacher from a distance. He looked gentle and elegant. Looking at the way he treated his students, he was a very patient teacher.

The next day, Bei Yutang brought Xiao Zimo to the door.

The teacher’s surname is Zhang, his name is Zixi, and he is thirty years old. He was not from Baiyun Town, but he moved here from a remote place. He has lived in Baiyun Town for seven or eight years and has a good relationship with his neighbors around him.

When Master Zhang saw the delicate and graceful Xiao Zimo, his eyes were full of amazement, “Zimo is well taken care of by Madam.”

Bei Yutang frowned slightly.

Master Zhang noticed her expression and asked naturally, “I wonder what Zimo has learned.”

Xiao Zimo stood there straight, reporting the books he had learned to Master Zhang one by one.

After listening, Master Zhang’s eyes were full of surprise.

“Have you read all these books?” Master Zhang was a little unconvinced.

“Yes.”

“Then, I will test you.”

Xiao Zimo nodded.

After a quarter of an hour, Master Zhang looked at Xiao Zimo with a different look in his eyes. This was the student with the best qualifications he had ever seen.

Seeing that he was satisfied, Bei Yutang explained their situation in advance.

“Master Zhang, we will only stay in Baiyun Town for a few months. When the time is up and we have finished dealing with things, we will leave.”
