There is No Chapter 24
When the Emperor received evidence from his beloved daughter showing that Si Yan had tried to harm her, he was utterly shocked. He had always known that Si Yan was ambitious, but he never imagined his son could do something so vile.
He even tried to forcibly turn his sister into an Omega.
Staring at Si Yan, whom he had just summoned, the Emperor asked coldly, “You knew your sister was still alive this whole time?”
Hearing this, Si Yan’s head snapped up, disbelief flashing in his eyes. He forced himself to stay calm and replied in a measured tone, “I don’t understand what you mean, Father.”
The Emperor gazed at him deeply before pulling up the evidence Si Yibing had sent on his console.
“You don’t understand?” the Emperor said coldly, watching as Si Yan’s face turned pale inch by inch, his eyes filled with disbelief. “Do you have any idea what your sister means to the Empire? Or did you think that by getting rid of her, you could become Emperor?”
Si Yan’s eyes turned red as he glared at his father. “She’s the future of the Empire? And I’m not? Just because she’s a 3S-level talent, I’ve never even existed in your eyes!”
The Emperor looked at him with deep disappointment and sorrow in his voice. “Even if I had planned to pass the throne to you, could you even protect the Empire?”
The Zerg threat was ever-present, constantly seeking an opportunity to attack humanity. With each new Zerg Emperor appearing earlier than the last, if the Empire were to lose Si Yibing, its only 3S-level powerhouse, who else could stand as its shield?
“Besides,” the Emperor added wearily, his voice tinged with age, “she’s your biological sister.” He looked at Si Yan, who showed no signs of remorse, and finally sighed. “You’ve got a crooked heart and no sense of repentance. Today, I am stripping you of your spiritual power. From now on, you are to remain in your home, not taking a single step beyond its walls.”
Si Yan clenched his fists tightly, hatred spreading in his heart. He wanted to resist but soon realized that his seemingly aging father was even stronger than Si Yibing.
After having Si Yan escorted away, the Emperor publicly announced that Si Yan was forbidden from leaving his residence from that day forward.
Mu Liuyin thought the Emperor had handled the matter fairly.
Now that the situation was resolved and Si Yan no longer posed a threat, she could stay at Saint Zernar Military Academy with peace of mind.
Three years later, Mu Liuyin successfully graduated from the academy’s five-year program.
Thanks to her outstanding academic performance and several commendable achievements during anti-Zerg campaigns, she was granted the rank of Captain immediately upon joining the military.
“Xiao Suyu! Why aren’t you here yet?! QAQ If you don’t hurry, the banquet’s going to start!”
Seeing the message Si Yibing sent to her console, Mu Liuyin smiled and quickly replied, “On my way.”
Due to an old internal injury sustained during an early battle with the Zerg, the Emperor had been chronically ill for years. Even with modern medical technology, he could not be fully cured, and his time was limited.
He wished to find a suitable partner for Si Yibing before passing.
Word had gotten out ahead of Si Yibing’s birthday banquet, and nobles from all over the Empire brought their Omega children, hoping to catch the attention of the esteemed Princess.
Nearly every Omega in attendance dreamed of being chosen by her.
What none of them knew was that Si Yibing’s heart had long belonged to her “little Suyu.” Unfortunately, after years of subtle flirting, Suyu still treated her as nothing more than a friend.
At first, Si Yibing had refused the Emperor’s plan to find her a partner, but later, she reconsidered—if the news made Suyu jealous, maybe that wasn’t a bad thing. After all, the Emperor wasn’t asking her to get engaged or married right away.
She was certain Suyu had feelings for her too—why else would she treat her so well?
Si Yibing was feeling a little conflicted.
At the banquet hall, Mu Liuyin handed her invitation to the attendant at the door and stepped inside.
Si Yibing’s beautiful, icy jade eyes lit up instantly when they saw the figure entering the hall.
The young woman in uniform had sharp, refined features and a graceful, detached presence. Her dual-S-class aura was perfectly restrained. Compared to the typical Alpha physique, she appeared a bit slender, yet the moment she entered, she drew countless eyes.
After all, she was an Alpha whose potential rivaled even Si Yibing’s. Though she held only the rank of Captain now, her future was bound to be extraordinary. Some noble families were already considering: if their Omega children didn’t win over the Princess, they might still try to build ties with this rising star.
Mu Liuyin politely turned away those who approached her for a toast and walked straight to a seat, sitting down.
She frowned slightly as she watched Omega after Omega approach Si Yibing, clearly trying to flirt. For some reason, it made her uncomfortable.
She had felt relieved when she first heard Si Yibing was looking for an Omega partner—it meant she finally realized her feelings for Suyu weren’t love. But now… she wasn’t so sure.
Mu Liuyin pressed her lips together. Maybe she was upset because Si Yibing hadn’t come over to greet her.
Betraying friendship for beauty!
She turned away, picked up a dessert, and popped it into her mouth. Her furrowed brow relaxed slightly.
Meanwhile, Si Yibing, who had hoped her plan would make Suyu jealous, glanced back and saw that after only a moment of frowning, the refined young woman was now calmly eating dessert, seemingly unaffected.
Si Yibing: QAQ
Mu Liuyin had no clue about Si Yibing’s turmoil. Just as she finished a pastry, a pale, delicate hand appeared in front of her.
She looked up slightly to see a beautiful and soft-looking female Omega standing before her. The Omega’s cheeks were pink, her expression shy, and her eyes, full of admiration, sparkled like autumn water.
“Captain Suyu,” she asked in a small voice, “may I have this dance?”
Mu Liuyin was about to decline—until she saw out of the corner of her eye another Omega trying to grab Si Yibing’s hand.
The refusal stuck in her throat, replaced by a calm acceptance. She took the Omega’s hand, curved her lips into a smile, and said, “It would be my honor.”
There was a soft curve to her eyes, as if tiny starlight flickered within them, drawing people in without them even realizing it.
And the moment Si Yibing saw her little Xu Yu accept a dance invitation from a female Omega, she nearly exploded with rage.
Aaaahhh! That’s her little Xu Yu!!!
Hers!!!
How could Xu Yu possibly dance with someone else? Si Yibing was beside herself with frustration. With a cold expression, she brushed off the Omega who had touched her without permission, then stormed straight toward Mu Liuyin and Xu Yu as they headed for the dance floor.
Mu Liuyin saw her step in front of them with a frosty face and frowned slightly. “What’s the matter?”
Hearing Xu Yu’s voice brought Si Yibing back from her furious haze. She forced herself to calm down and turned to the startled Omega beside them. “Miss, Captain Xu Yu and I have some urgent military matters to discuss. Would you mind giving us a moment?”
She hadn’t expected the imperial princess to speak to her—but even more surprising was the content of what she said. The Omega girl stood there, unsure whether she should feel flattered or disheartened. Dazed by Si Yibing’s stunning face, she stammered, “O-okay…”
Mu Liuyin: “…”
Without hesitation, Si Yibing grabbed the same hand the Omega had just held.
The Omega girl remained standing there, watching as Captain Xu Yu was pulled away. Something about the dynamic between those two Alphas felt… off. And wait—wasn’t this supposed to be the princess’s birthday party? Why would there be military matters to discuss here?
Si Yibing dragged Mu Liuyin into a room behind the banquet hall. Just as Mu Liuyin opened her mouth to question her, Si Yibing suddenly pressed her against the white wall. Mu Liuyin frowned and tried to push her away.
But before she could react, Si Yibing leaned in close—and in the next moment, she felt something soft and warm touch her lips.
That soft sensation… was Si Yibing’s lips.
“Mm—!” Mu Liuyin gasped in shock, only for the sound to be smothered, turning into a muffled whimper.
Si Yibing held her against the wall—not forcefully enough to hurt, but firmly enough that she couldn’t escape. The instant their lips met, it was as if fireworks went off in Si Yibing’s mind.
Her lips were soft, like jelly, but the kiss itself was aggressive. As Mu Liuyin felt Si Yibing’s breath intertwining with her own, her mind went completely blank. She even forgot to resist.
Si Yibing… still harbored these kinds of feelings for her?
And yet… she didn’t hate it.
[System Notification: Host, your heat cycle is starting early!]
Little Nine, her system AI, was panicking as it watched its host melt under the kiss.
The moment Mu Liuyin heard the words “heat cycle,” her dazed mind snapped back into clarity. She tried to push Si Yibing off of her—but it was already too late.
A fresh, herbal scent began to drift from her body—far richer than usual—and within seconds, it filled the entire room.

Why do you keep describing the MC as a women when they’re in a male body and people don’t know that the soul is that of a women??
