When he got home, Xu Xinghe asked Xia Qingmeng about another problem as usual. He didn’t ask too many. He was afraid of disturbing her studying.

After Xia Qingmeng answered his question and hung up, she actually felt a rare sense of loneliness.

Her grandmother, being elderly, had already gone to sleep. The quiet room had no sound at all except for the restless chirping of insects outside the window.
