TSFLIP Chapter 954

Fengguang slept for a full day and night. It wasn’t only because she had been injured, but also because something was changing inside her body after drinking blood for the first time.

When she opened her eyes, she stared at the white ceiling in a daze for a full minute. Then she shifted slightly and realized her whole body felt sore and achy, deeply uncomfortable. Very quickly, what had happened the day before came rushing back to her.

She lifted the hand beneath the blanket and found no wounds at all. She froze for a moment, then touched her face—also completely unblemished. Finally, she sat bolt upright, threw back the blanket, and stared at the loose, clearly oversized shirt she was wearing. It took her a long moment to process it all. Then she hopped off the bed, but the instant her foot touched the floor, her right leg gave out.

With a loud thud, she crashed to the ground.

The door to the room flew open immediately.

A man walked in. “Hey, little girl, are you okay?”

Sitting on the floor and rubbing her head where she’d hit it, Fengguang looked up at the long-haired man holding a spatula and wearing an apron. She blanked out for a second, then said dazedly, “Hello… I’m looking for your twin brother, Ming An.”

“My twin brother?” He squatted down in front of her and said casually, “He ran off because he owed people money. If you’re here to collect a debt, go find him. If you’re here to repay one, you can come to me.”

The corner of Fengguang’s eye twitched. “Principal!”

“Hm?” He propped his chin on one hand, his tone lazy, his gaze drifting over her.

Fengguang said, “I smell something burning.”

“Oh no—my food!” Ming An jumped to his feet and bolted out of the room.

She pressed a hand to her chest and let out a long breath, not daring to admit that when she’d been facing him just now, her heart had been racing wildly—and that she’d even felt an inexplicable urge to hug him, to kiss him…

Fengguang clutched her head in frustration. What was wrong with her brain? She was supposed to be focusing on winning over Wen Xian, the student council president—not falling for this scruffy middle-aged man!

While she was tangled up in her own thoughts, Ming An poked his head back in through the doorway. Scratching his hair, he asked a little uncertainly, “Do you want to eat?”

“…Yes.” She held her stomach. When it came to food, she could overlook everything else.

Ming An walked over to her and naturally bent down, holding out his arms.

Fengguang asked nervously, “What are you doing?”

“Carrying you to eat.” Ming An paused, then said matter-of-factly, “Do you think you can walk right now?”

She couldn’t.

Her silence said it all.

Ming An slipped one arm around her waist and slid the other beneath her legs, lifting her effortlessly into a princess carry. Fengguang felt too embarrassed to wrap her arms around his neck, so she lightly gripped the fabric at his collar instead. Her heart was pounding—especially when she caught the faint scent of alcohol on him. It felt like her heart was about to leap out of her chest, and without realizing it, she tightened her grip on his clothes.

He suddenly stopped walking.

Fengguang looked up at him, only to hear him say seriously, “Young girls often have a thing for older men. So if you happen to fall for me, there’s no need to be shy. That’s perfectly normal.”

Fengguang bristled like an angry cat. “Don’t flatter yourself! Who would ever like an old man like you?!”

“Little girl, you really don’t like me?” he said, sounding genuinely troubled. “This old man here feels like he likes you quite a lot, though.”
