“You’re so good at talking.”

The Third Sister-in-law glared at her, but still came over and took Xu Lingyi’s hand. The two of them climbed the stone steps hand in hand.

“Yesterday, the Third Sister-in-law came to ask about Yi’er’s marriage. She was worried that if Yi’er married far away, the two of them wouldn’t be able to play together anymore.”

The Eldest Sister-in-law smiled as she watched them walk away.

Mrs. Xu sighed: “They’re both childish, two simpletons, that’s why they get along so well.”

The Eldest Sister-in-law smiled silently.

Only Mrs. Xu would dare to say such a thing. If anyone else said anything bad about Yi’er, Mrs. Xu, such a gentle person, would dare to go up and argue with the person.
