In the afternoon, Luo Xi prepared some fruits and had Anying take her to the hospital.

Luo Yuyi wasn’t there. Instead, Mo Xiaoxue was by her mother’s bedside.

“Xixi is here!” Mu Qing’s eyes lit up with relief upon seeing Luo Xi.

“Mom, how are you? Is there still any discomfort?” Luo Xi asked as she sat down.

“I can’t feel anything now, don’t worry.” Mu Qing shook her head, then looked at Mo Xiaoxue and said, “But it’s thanks to Xiaoxue taking care of me all this time.”

Luo Xi’s eyes flickered and she asked, “Where are Dad and Yuyi? Why aren’t they here?”

“Uncle had something at the company and went back. Sister, sister…” Mo Xiaoxue’s expression changed slightly, as if unsure whether to say something.

“What’s wrong?” Luo Xi narrowed her eyes.

“Did she admit it?” Luo Xi raised an eyebrow.
