The audition was for a movie, which was financed and filmed by Ke Hong, a famous director from Country G. Ke Hong was over 40 years old and was a very talented director. All the movies he shot were masterpieces.
Both the word of mouth and the box office were very good. Director Ke Hong had been preparing for the filming of the movie “The Tang Dynasty” for a full five years. From the script to the scene design, he strived to achieve excellence.
The protagonist of the movie “The Tang Dynasty” had been decided long ago. Many people were trying their best to participate, but unfortunately, the list of actors was decided long ago.
When this movie was being planned, Bei Yutang hadn’t made her debut yet, so naturally, she had nothing to do with it.
This audition was a coincidence.
The original third female role was implicated in the previous drug abuse incident and could not participate, so they had to re-select another actress. This was how Bei Yutang got the chance to audition.
The role she auditioned for was a singing girl. At a grand banquet held in the Tang Dynasty, she performed a stunning dance and attracted the attention of the emperor. However, she was framed and killed by the vicious imperial concubine.
Before the death of this dancer, she was going to marry her childhood sweetheart, but she died tragically. After death, she was unwilling to accept it and turned into a ghost to seek revenge.
The female lead was a powerful demon catcher who specialized in capturing evil spirits. In the process of capturing evil spirits, she uncovered the truth about the deaths of the queen and the dancer.
The truth was revealed, and the story ended.
The role of the dancer was not too much, but not too little either. The most important thing was that she was the center of the plot, so her role was very important.
If this role was played badly, it would affect the whole movie. Therefore, Director Ke Hong attached great importance to the role of the dancer.
Who would have expected that the actress who played the dancer before would have such a thing?
The reason why Director Ke Hong was so picky about the role was not because there were no good actresses in the entertainment industry, but because those with good acting skills were not good at dancing.
The dancing was okay, but the acting skills were lacking. The previous actress was born as a dancer and her acting skills were also good, so she got the role.
The actresses who auditioned this time were all well-known actresses in the entertainment industry, and their acting skills and appearance were all good.
When they came in, there were already many actors in the audition room.
Bei Yutang was holding number 10, which was very far back and the second to last.
Sister Yu glanced at the people around them. They were all capable people, so it would be difficult for them to get this role. However, Sister Yu got important information through her strong connections, which was what the thorn in Ke Hong’s heart was.
It was a dance that was astonishing and divine.
Among the actresses who auditioned, there were very few who could dance, but Bei Yutang had studied dance professionally for several years, so she had a certain foundation and was always more confident than others.
“Yutang, you should be calm and don’t be too nervous.” Sister Yu said worriedly.
“Yeah.”
Bei Yutang looked at the people who were auditioning on the stage. At this time, the person drew the scene when the dancer turned into a fierce ghost.
It had to be said that Zhang Xiuling’s acting was very good. She aroused the emotions of the people present and infected them with her unwilling and angry emotions.
After she finished, Bei Yutang whispered, “She acted very well.”
Sister Yu also had to admit that Zhang Xiuling’s acting skills were indeed very good, better than Yutang’s.
Even the judges thought that it was good and nodded one after another, only Director Ke Hong still had a cold face.
Ke Hong asked Zhang Xiuling: “Can you dance ancient dance?”
