Several people talked aimlessly and it was almost eleven o’clock in a blink of an eye. He Ye’s house had a curfew and was ready to go home, so the rest of the people got up.
“Su Yi, are you driving? Do you want me to take you home?”
Su Yi was about to say yes when her mobile phone rang. She answered the call and then said, “My brother is nearby and is coming to pick me up on the way.”
A few people walked out of the door, and a car happened to stop slowly.
Xiao Yan got out of the driver’s seat. Although it was late at night, he was still dressed in a formal suit. The well-tailored clothes revealed his broad shoulders and slender waist. His long legs were wrapped in suit pants, and his figure was tall and straight. (T/N: OMG, I fell in love with the fictional character! QAQ!!)
He walked over to the front of the car door, nodded slightly to Zhang Jiajia and others, and opened the door for Su Yi.
Su Yi got in the car and waved out the window, and then the car slid into the night.
Fang Yingying covered her chest and sighed, “Why is it that although they are all brothers, other people’s brothers are like princes, but my brother is just a dead dog?”
After she finished speaking, she waited for a long time but no one responded.
She turned around and looked at the other two people, “What are you thinking?”
“Don’t you think… Su Yi and her brother look a little strange?” Zhang Jiajia looked in the direction the car drove away, with a thoughtful look on her face.
“What’s strange about that?”
He Ye whispered: “I feel that a little bit too.”
She and Zhang Jiajia ignored Fang Yingying and communicated silently with their eyes.
Neither of them had brothers or sisters, but perhaps it was precisely because they didn’t have brothers or sisters that they saw too many brothers and sisters getting along with each other. From the perspective of an observer, they could make a comparison.
It wasn’t a big deal at school ten years ago, but the situation just now was different.
When a brother picked up his sister, would he get out of the car to open the door for her?
Would he be considerate and protect her behind her with one hand?
Would he block her head to prevent collision?
Even the twenty-four filial boyfriends were not so considerate!
Not to mention siblings who were not actually related by blood.
And the way he looked at Su Yi…
It couldn’t be expressed in words.
Thinking about how he is young and handsome, successful in his career, and his artists are more beautiful than each other, but he has never had any scandals…
Tsk, things seemed to be getting a bit serious.
He Ye and Zhang Jiajia looked at each other, and both saw this sentence in each other’s eyes.
They were silent for a while, and then they stretched out their hands at the same time and made a zipper gesture in their mouths.
There are some things that you can joke about as friends, but there are other things that you cannot say a word about.
“Hey, what are you guys talking about?” Fang Yingying looked crazy.
The other two shrugged. One looked at the sky, and the other looked at the watch.
“It’s so late. Let’s go home.”
“Yeah, if I don’t go back, I’ll miss my beauty sleep.”
“You guys—” Fang Yingying wanted to ask again, but they pushed her into the car and dragged her away.
On the other side, Xiao Yan’s car drove onto the avenue and merged into the traffic.
Su Yi’s head was filled with all kinds of gossip tonight. Looking at Xiao Yan’s profile as he focused on driving, she was rarely curious.
“Brother, where is your girlfriend?”
There was a traffic light intersection ahead. Xiao Yan slowed down until the car stopped completely and then turned his head to look at her.
“What girlfriend?”
Su Yi shrugged lightly, “It’s what you should have at this age. That’s what they all say.”
When Xiao Yan heard this, he didn’t answer but asked, “Are you also in this age range?”
“I think so.” Su Yi looked at the jumping red light numbers boredly.
“So, are you planning to find a boyfriend?” Xiao Yan said calmly.
Su Yi shook her head, “I’m not interested. What I said before is still applicable now.”
Xiao Yan knew that she was referring to what she said at the New Year’s Eve party in high school. Although many years had passed, he still remembered it.
She said that she didn’t have time to fall in love and wasn’t going to fall in love.
Ten years later, it remained the same.
He couldn’t remember how he felt when he first heard this, but now when he heard it again, he actually felt that this was not bad.
She would not belong to anyone and would not stay for anyone.
This was good.

You can support your favorite novel by buying me a cup of Ko-fi ( ˘▽˘)っ♨
I will really appreciate it. ♥️♥️♥️

I kinda ship them, but their identity… It’s a little…😅 Smh
Personally I never understood the care people have for this. They’re not related by blood at all, what could go wrong? Literally no biological reason for it to be wrong, just super old reasons that only ever came up do to religion, or some males wanted better control over women.
