“It’s me, class monitor! I haven’t been to class for a month. Do you miss me?” Tian Mi asked with a playful smile.
Tian Mi’s tone was full of familiarity, but in fact, apart from being Tian Mi’s class monitor, Li Yanzhen had no relationship with the two of them, so how could they possibly be familiar with each other?
Tian Mi’s ‘intimate’ questioning really stunned Li Yanzhen on the other end of the phone.
Her personality was that her brain was very fast in learning, and she could even draw inferences from one example.
But when it came to communicating with people in private, she was not good at it at all, and her reaction was very slow. Sometimes, she even could not react for a long time.
So after Tian Mi finished speaking, Li Yanzhen didn’t know how to answer Tian Mi’s question for a moment.
The original quiet at the end of the phone became even quieter after Tian Mi finished speaking.
Well, Tian Mi also knew that the relationship between the original body and Li Yan was actually not very good. She also had a general idea of her character.
It seemed that her joke was a bit too much. How could the dull Li Yanzhen respond to her joke?
Tian Mi thought for a while and then spoke again: “Class monitor, I’m calling to ask about my studies. I haven’t been to class for so long, so I don’t know how far I have progressed in my courses.”
Li Yanzhen on the other end of the phone really felt that either she had heard wrongly or Tian Mi had said it wrong.
First of all, Tian Mi’s gentle and polite voice almost dislocated Li Yanzhen’s jaw.
Secondly, Tian Mi, who always hated studying, would actually take the initiative to call her to ask about her study progress!
Li Yanzhen held the phone away from her ear, pushed up her glasses that were sliding down, and looked at the caller’s name on the screen.
The caller was indeed Tian Mi. Although the tone of her voice was different, her voice could still be roughly heard.
So, should she believe that Tian Mi suddenly wanted to study hard?
Just when Tian Mi was getting impatient and was about to speak again, Li Yanzhen finally responded to Tian Mi.
“You haven’t been to campus for so long, so it’s hard to tell how your study progress is over the phone. It happens that there is no class on campus this afternoon. Let’s make an appointment to meet and I will tell you in detail.”
After receiving a response, Tian Mi smiled, nodded, and said, “Okay, then let’s go to the dessert shop outside the school. Well, 1:30 in the afternoon is fine. What do you think, class monitor?”
“Well, okay, bye.” Li Yanzhen finished speaking and hung up the phone directly.
Tian Mi raised her eyebrows and looked at the screen of her phone.
Hmm~ With such a personality, if Li Yanzhen was a boy, he would be very popular!
Unfortunately, she was a girl.
Even if she looked pretty, no boy dared to pursue her ‘dignity’ class monitor and her perennial facial paralyzed face.
Seeing Tian Mi finished talking on the phone, the driver Uncle Li looked at Tian Mi from the rearview mirror: “Miss, are we going home or somewhere else?”
“Let’s go home.”
“Okay.”
At 1:15 in the afternoon, Tian Mi arrived at the dessert shop where she had an appointment with Li Yanzhen in advance.
As soon as she entered the dessert shop, Tian Mi saw Li Yanzhen sitting in the corner, reading a book with her head down.
Raising her eyebrows, Tian Mi raised her wrist to check the time. It was indeed 1:15.
She arrived 15 minutes early on purpose, but unexpectedly, Li Yanzhen arrived earlier than her!
For a moment, Tian Mi had an even better impression of Li Yanzhen, who she already had a good impression of.
She smiled and walked toward Li Yanzhen.
