The first step when traveling to a book was to stay away from the male protagonist.
The male protagonist died because of the original owner in his previous life. He would definitely dislike her after his rebirth.
Ruan Ning had no interest in being a target here.
Fortunately, the house was rented. Ruan Ning checked her mobile bank’s balance. Although she was not rich, renting another house was easy.
Soon, she pulled out the local map from her mobile phone and targeted several high-end residential areas with relatively high terrain.
She called the agent and said that she wanted to rent a house. It didn’t matter if the rent was more expensive, and she had to negotiate today.
Soon, news came from the agent that there was an apartment on the 18th floor that she could check out. The landlord was now abroad and everything was handed over to the agent.
Ruan Ning stored all her belongings in her current residence to the space and took a taxi to go to the appointment place.
The process of renting a house was very simple. There was no bargaining. Anyway, she deposited one month’s fee and paid another three months’ fees.
Considering that the apocalypse would come in ten days, she might not have the chance to pay the fourth month’s rent.
The agent readily handed her the keys.
Ruan Ning thought about it and found that the first time was strange, the second time was familiar, so she asked this person to rent a dilapidated warehouse in the suburbs as a transit point for purchasing supplies.
After the two of them separated in the warehouse, Ruan Ning took a taxi and rushed to the building materials market. She found a door and window shop and asked the boss to follow her to measure the dimensions of her newly rented house.
In addition to installing anti-theft doors, Ruan Ning also wanted to install the thickest anti-theft glass.
After measuring the dimensions of the doors and windows, the boss sincerely suggested: “These things are not cheap. Are you sure you want to use such good ones?”
Ruan Ning smiled: “I like to buy the most expensive things. Don’t worry, Boss. But these things have to be installed tomorrow.”
The boss looked embarrassed, looked at Ruan Qing, and said, “This construction schedule is a bit rushed.”
Ruan Ning didn’t waste any words: “I’ll add money.”
Of course, the other party was happy with the extra money and agreed to start work at six o’clock tomorrow morning. The boss happily left with the deposit.
It was almost seven o’clock in the evening. There were still nine and a half days before the end of the world.
Ruan Ning decided to do some online shopping first.
Since there would be a flood at the end of the world, boat supplies were indispensable. Ruan Ning first found two kayaks, a speedboat, and a set of expensive diving equipment.
At this time, the website algorithm recommended a plastic boat worth 500 yuan to her.
Ruan Ning thought about it and thought that it might be used to exchange for missing supplies or cover-up, so she ordered five.
She believed that after the end of the world, such a boat would be hard to find.
Then, she searched for outdoor goods stores.
Tents were indispensable. Although they would not be used for a short period of time, they would definitely be useful during earthquakes.
Ruan Ning purchased five, equipped them with ten cold-resistant sleeping bags, and added them to the shopping cart in one go.
The tents were made of better materials, and together with the sleeping bag that cost 300 yuan each, it cost 24,000 yuan in total.
The multi-function box contained various tools, including emergency lighting flashlights, cutting knives, multi-purpose tool pliers, life-saving hammers, etc.
2 sets were required.
Ruan Ning saw a waterproof bag for small items and bought five hundred of them at once. These things were usually used to hold mobile phones, and they could be used to hold any small items in the apocalypse.
Of course, she couldn’t miss a raincoat, rain trousers, and a dozen life jackets.
The outdoor store also sold small outdoor silent generators.
Ruan Ning placed an order for one, but she thought that it would be better to buy another diesel generator. She could also store some photovoltaic panels.
An outdoor clothing and hat store actually sold quick-drying clothes, so she definitely couldn’t just pass it up.
In addition, the backpacks in outdoor product stores were relatively sturdy. What other insulation functions did they have? She didn’t know if it was true or false.
Buy, buy, buy…

Translator’s Comment:
Oh my, I really like this kind of shopping without thinking about money!
Buy, buy, buy!
But, reality slaps me hard! Hiks, hiks…
You can support your lovely translator and your favorite novel by buying me a cup of Ko-fi ( ˘▽˘)っ♨
I will really appreciate it. ❤️❤️❤️

Only saddest part about every Hoarding novels is the need of money which we poor plebians couldn’t match up
I honestly dislike when they make it as though the MC conveniently has money for all of that when i know from construction how expensive it will be… But I’ll give the story a few more chances.
The quick construction, and renovation always gets me. Even if you can bribe the labor, often they order things that would have to be custom made then shipped to the contractor to install. Nevermind the stuff that isn’t kept in stock.
To be fair, she can also use a credit card for all of it. When the world ends, will she have to pay it back? 🤷🏻♀️
Is she planning on venturing out into the world once the apocalypse hits or moving yo another residence after a few months? How will.she bring her magic refrigerator wherever she goes or is it in the system space .
Spend all savings where money is needed. Max credit cards. Get short-term loans everywhere (Internet offers them – not recommended in real life though). Take things on credit (most shops allow paying in installments, e.g. electronics etc.).
And suddenly you can have really a lot of spending power. Enough to prepare.
