Lord God Jiu Yuan (10)

Regarding the sudden transformation of the little green dragon into a little silver dragon, the things that were the most surprising were the four little resurrection grasses. When the dragon ran around Jiang Rui, the four of them gathered together and muttered.

“Is that the Little Baby?”

“Is he sick? Why did he turn white?” (T/N: Lord God: It’s silver, you moron!)

“It’s not that he is sick. I seem to have heard that the hair on the body of an older person will turn white, so he must be old.”

“Oh my god! Is the Little Baby very old? It’s so pitiful. I won’t be angry with him anymore. If he likes my voice, just give it to him.”

“And I. I can give him mine too.”

“And I!”

Several other grasses echoed in succession, shaking their slender young leaves and lamenting in unison: “Poor Little Baby…”

The little silver dragon knew nothing about this. Ever since Jiang Rui talked to him, he had not returned to the flower pot and wished that he could stay by her side every moment.

When Jiang Rui read a book, he would lay on the bookshelf; when Jiang Rui drank tea, he put himself in the tea set; even when watering, he stepped on the clouds and shuttled back and forth in the water curtain. The shiny silver scales became more translucent and beautiful when stained with water droplets.

For the sake of his good looks, Jiang Rui didn’t care about him. The little silver dragon became even more complacent and pushed for more.

However, no matter how flamboyant he was, he was still thrown out of the house when he was resting at night, and he had to lie pitifully on the window sill.

Although it was as easy for him to break through the magic circle around the house as to pierce a layer of paper, he didn’t have the guts to take a step further, for fear of upsetting the person inside and not even allowing him to enter the courtyard.

Now that Rui Rui was willing to talk to him and allowed him to stay with her, the little silver dragon was already very happy.

He remembered waking up for the first time after returning to his throne and learning from Shu Yuan that she had left the Yujing Immortal Island. The silver dragon’s water tank-sized eyes almost burst into tears, but fortunately, he turned into a human form in time to hold back.

He thought that Rui Rui had forgotten him or didn’t like him at all, so he turned into a little dragon and secretly observed her nearby for a long time. He was so envious of those few grasses that could be favored by Rui Rui that his teeth itched with envy.

Later, he had an idea and turned himself green, shrunk in size, and approached her disguised as grass. Now it seemed that this method was very wonderful.

The Lord God Jiu Yuan returned to his throne after tens of thousands of years. The Yujing Immortal Island was bustling with people, and many gods and generals handed in invitations to pay their respects.

Some of them could be dealt with by Immortal Lord Shu Yuan, but some of the ancient gods couldn’t be dealt with in a few words, so he had to ask the Lord God for instructions.

The crane sent to deliver the message flew around Jiang Rui’s immortal mansion over and over again, but a certain dragon pretended not to see it and dangled in front of Jiang Rui as if nothing had happened.

Before attracting anyone’s attention, Jiang Rui grabbed him by the tail and threw him out. Then, she sealed her immortal mansion, not allowing him to come in again.

The little silver dragon circled around twice and saw that she had no intention of softening her heart, so he reluctantly left the mansion.

Realizing that he had left, Jiang Rui put down her book and looked up at the silver light passing by in the distant clouds. She shook her head slightly. Then, she got up, packed up, and went out.

A little immortal like her who had just entered the heavenly realm needed to get an errand. The task assigned to her was to manage the hundreds of kinds of immortal grass in Bifang Garden.

However, she did not need to take care of it herself. There was an immortal child to do this kind of thing. She only needed to check it every two days.

As usual, she patrolled the garden and invited the immortal boy to ask about the recent growth of the immortal grass in the garden, whether there were any immortals coming to pick the grass, whether it was necessary to apply for replenishment pills, etc.

  1. Jojo says:

It’s kinda weird to me how cold she is being after everything that happened.

    1. Lex says:

I think she’s thinking about their difference in status and how she’s just a subject under him. Ultimately, she respect and revere him but she didn’t know she loves him by this time and I guess he needed to chase her first?

She’s emotionally tired because she thought being with him was a job. It was mentioned each life took a toll on her so maybe that’s why.
