Jiang Ting felt that she hadn’t read the almanac today. She met weird people like Wu Song and Jin Huihui early in the morning. She went out for a walk and encountered such a thing again. She was even more furious.
Especially since this couple was so dirty and swearing, Jiang Ting wanted to kick them, but she was stopped by the person next to them.
“Girl, calm down. It’s not worth putting yourself in trouble just because of two lunatics.”
Beatings are classified according to severity. For minor injuries, you may be fined or detained. For serious injuries, you may be in violation of the criminal law and may even be jailed.
People around her didn’t want such a warm-hearted and good girl to go against the country’s laws because of two scumbags, so they immediately stopped Jiang Ting.
The couple wanted to run away when Jiang Ting called the woman’s husband on the phone, but they were stopped by others.
“Get out of the way, why are you blocking us? I’ve finished eating and I’m leaving now, why are you stopping me?”
“Go away, all go away.”
Others refused to give in and blocked them one after another.
“This is wrong of you. You can’t run away if you do something wrong.”
“We’re having a nice meal here, but you’re cursing and you still want to leave?”
“Your wild man just wanted to kill the child in front of so many people. We are all witnesses, so we can’t let you go.”
The diners were chattering away, but they just surrounded the two people and refused to let them go.
In the end, more and more people came to watch the excitement, and word spread from one to eleven. When the boss saw that he could not do his business anymore, he simply called the police.
Near here was the Zhihe Bridge. Due to frequent accidents, there was a police station on duty. Soon, two policemen arrived.
“Who reported the case?” One of the tall policemen asked.
“I, I reported.” The boss said quickly.
Before the police could ask questions, the couple started crying and screaming.
“Comrade police, please help. These people are surrounding us and won’t let us go.”
“And that woman over there robbed my son and beat my husband. Comrade police have to make the decision for me.”
When the diners around saw the couple shouting each other up, they quickly explained.
“Comrade police, it was not like this. This man wanted to kill this woman’s son, but the little girl acted bravely.”
“Yes, yes, comrade police. This man is not the woman’s husband. He is the woman’s adulterer. Her real husband will be here later.”
“That’s right, this woman is cruel enough. She watched her child being killed by an adulterer and was indifferent. It was the girl over there who saved the child. The police comrades must not trust the wrong person or wrongly accuse a good person.”
The diners said different things from the man and woman, which immediately confused the two policemen.
This store was an old one, and the boss couple didn’t like to install surveillance cameras, so they had no evidence to prove what happened.
But soon the two of them realized that the man, woman, and the little girl next to them who were protected by everyone should be the protagonists of the incident.
The two police officers looked at each other and decided that one would be responsible for one side. The tall man was responsible for questioning the couple. The other policeman, although a little short, looked very strong. He squeezed through the crowd and walked to Jiang Ting.
“I am Police Officer Wang from Zhihe Police Station. Now please cooperate with us in handling the case.”
“Name?”
“Jiang Ting.”
“Age.”
Jiang Ting thought about this body, and it seemed like, “22.” She answered.
“What happened just now?”
