During this time, the braised pork brought them benefits and repeat customers. Bei Yutang knew it when she saw the waiter’s reaction and Shopkeeper Feng’s attitude after she entered the door.
With the foreshadowing of the previous dish, she thought that Shopkeeper Feng could understand how much profit she could give them.
“If Shopkeeper Feng agrees, I can come up with ten dishes now. Then, three new recipes will be released every month.” Bei Yutang continued to throw bait.
After Bei Yutang finished speaking, she stopped talking and waited for him to make a decision.
When she knew that recipes could make money, in the second world of the mission, she specialized in cooking.
After a while, Shopkeeper Feng smiled and said, “Okay. But, can the commission be lowered a little?”
Bei Yutang looked at him with a smile, and the look in her eyes made Shopkeeper Feng feel guilty.
“Forget it, forget it, let’s make it twenty percent.”
“Shopkeeper Feng is a cheerful person. I wonder if Shopkeeper Feng can pay me a deposit of one hundred taels in advance?” Bei Yutang asked.
She did this, firstly, because she urgently needed money, and secondly, to see if he was sincere in cooperating.
Shopkeeper Feng is a businessman, so he naturally understands, but he does not refuse and readily agrees, “Okay.”
At Bei Yutang’s suggestion, the two signed a contract to bind each other and ensure each other’s interests to avoid future disputes.
After the contract was finalized, Bei Yutang entered the kitchen and started cooking. There were ten dishes, including meat and vegetables, just enough for one table. Everyone salivated quickly when they saw the table of dishes that were full of color and flavor.
Shopkeeper Feng was grinning from ear to ear. Bei Yutang wrote down the recipe and explained the cooking process to the chef. After finishing all this, she left Hongfu Restaurant with a hundred taels of silver.
Xiao Zimo was always by her side, watching his mother talking to others and earning a hundred taels of silver in a few clicks. When Xiao Zimo looked at Bei Yutang, his eyes became sparkling and full of admiration.
Mother, you are so awesome!
After leaving Hongfu Restaurant, Bei Yutang led Xiao Zimo into a clothing store. She wanted to buy four pieces of cloth at first and planned to make clothes for the two of them, but she thought that she often entered the world of missions, so she might not have that much time. She didn’t know how long it would take for her to finish the mission, so it was better to buy a few sets of clothes first and then do it slowly when she had free time.
“Shopkeeper, do you have any children’s clothes? I want new ones.”
The owner of the clothing store took one look at them but didn’t dislike what they were wearing.
The boss smiled and said, “Wait a moment.”
The boss turned around and took out a set of children’s clothes from the hanger at the back. Bei Yutang saw that it was made of linen and shook her head at the shopkeeper, “Give me cotton and satin.”
When the boss heard this, he couldn’t help but remind her: “Madam, the price of silk is very expensive.”
One piece of satin clothing can be worth two or three pieces of cotton.
“It’s okay, just bring it.”
Seeing her insistence, the boss went to get it, but he had no hope. He guessed after hearing the price, that she definitely won’t want it.
The boss brought a set of satin and cotton clothes.
Bei Yutang picked up the satin set and handed it to Xiao Zimo, “Go in and try it.”
Xiao Zimo held the smooth and bright clothes in his hands but did not dare to move. He asked uncertainty: “Mother, do you really want me to try it?”
What if he gets it dirty?
The shopkeeper couldn’t help but say: “Madam, you can’t try on this satin suit unless you buy it.”
